First look this year. Had a lot more in previous years..

Made this point on the old board about lack of any social media coverage. Hopefully it picks up to normal levels now.

I know it's silly because they don't really show anything other than made shots and layups, but these kind of videos keep me engaged and excited for the season.

Also is it just me or has Grant put on some weight? Looks a little stockier

While not much, it's great to see anything at this point. I was under the impression Ware as a more cut guy. He's got a Sommerville like physique.

I think I saw Francis shooting a free throw @ the 26 sec mark.

Man...Ogbole is a BIG human being!!!! If he and Fall can develop into a competent two-headed monster at center...Buchanan can re-engage his upward development arc...returnees Grant and Davis progress and help a couple of the frosh to get acclimated, there may be some positives here. I'm hopeful we are due for some good fortune...developing team chemistry is key...maybe we can become that team again....being happy making other teams miserable! We must...we will never be a thing of beauty and artistry. Go RU!

Was just going to post about Ogbole. He looks HUGE! Must have been doing some serious lifting of late.

Might not be a bad strategy, release videos where fans get to know some of the guys personally before seeing them play. May make fans less likely to criticize them early.

Chris & Tariq seem like real good dudes. Humble, well-spoken, comfortable in front of the camera. Looking forward to seeing what they can do, as well as the rest of the newcomers. I'm always a glass half-full kind of guy so I'm optimistic for a decent season, despite the doom & gloom from the masses, ha.

As a fellow optimist, I see a path to 14 to 17 overall wins, 6-8 Big Ten wins, and making the Big Ten tourney, even if barely. Is that considered being an optimist or a pessimist?

We all are rooting for our team, but I think you are being optimistic on final win totals. Last year broke my optimism. Hope to be pleasantly surprised. New AD better get more $$$ for basketball team. She should be highly motivated by the bonuses in her contract.

Actually go thru the games. Rutgers will significantly favored in 7 out of conference games. 2 games are toss ups (ND and Hall). Tennessee is a loss on paper. That’s 8-2 to 7-3. They should win 5-7 conference games and I wouldn’t call that optimistic. Conservatively thats 12-15 wins. If they get some luck, maybe they win 2 games that they shouldn’t. On paper the ceiling is probably 17 wins and the floor is probably 12. Right now, I would guess 14-15 wins. This team will be way different than last year. Effort will be high and defense will be a must.

10-12 wins best case scenario
