I think it's a great move for both parties and I love it when teams go all in for a title like this. They really signed him for a hopeful SB run so that should give him the time he needs to get there physically to.

Was his senior year the last time we REALLY had fun watching Nebraska football? I know there were some decent years after that but I think it was more downhill than not.

Can’t believe the Bucs were stupid enough to let Suh walk but yet sign Akiem Hicks. What’s bunch of dum fvks.
Hicks has been hurt more games than he’s even played in the NFL

Pretty sure it was the last year there wasn't any debate about whether the blackshirts should be handed out or given back.

Eagles needed to bolster the interior D line. Just added Suh and Linval Joseph. Already have Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, and rookie 1st rounder Jordan Davis (though injured currently). Should make for a nice rotation if they can all stay healthy. Go birds

I didn't know Barnett was out for the year. That dude owned the Huskers in their last bowl game in FREAKING 2016.

2010, the following year, was pretty good. 2012 was at least a division title.

Honestly that was one of my favorite years to watch, and I was around for the 90s run also.

They were betting on his production at a rate cheaper than Suh. It may have worked if he wasn't always hurt. On a side note, Suh is coming into a situation to shore up a D-line that ALSO has an already injured rookie that was suppose to be Mean Joe Green if you watched that one video of him carrying Cam Jurgens like a forklift in preseason. Suh has always played a ton and never got hurt. Lets see how a short season will treat him. Hopefully he goes off and also remains healthy.

Yeah, I do get what they were trying to do, but $8 mil for Hicks isn’t cheap and they could have had Suh for close to that. And Suh is virtually never hurt, while Hicks is always hurt. Hicks did just come back and play in his 2nd full game this past weekend.. I am hoping he stays healthy the rest of the way. He is good when healthy… no doubting that.
Now if only Jensen can get healthy in next 3-4 weeks in time for the playoffs

Suh. The only player that could match the Husker Board bench lifters.

He can't touch our 40 times though..
