Q has been my favorite player since Bowers. Wish he could have gone out on a slightly better note.

That was a tough 1 hour stretch. Blowing a 10 point lead to Liberty and a 5 run lead to Auburn.

It's funny. Expectations.

Little to no support of our basketball program. But yet we expect to see them win. After we see you win we will support you.

Plot twist. Getting to the tourney was a win. Finishing 10-8 in SEC play was a win. Getting our program back on the map. Win.

Maybe we expect a miracle. Instead we got year over year improvement and a tourney birth this year.

All we can see is what we aren't instead of what we are.

Proud of Q, Peters, Perry, Woodard, Carter, Ado and Holman. They were fun to watch and I'm looking forward to next season.

Kudos to you for your positive attitude. But we lost to Liberty and I think it’s ok to be pissed about that, too.

I agree. It’s our best season in a decade. Men’s basketball is our worse sport. It seems ridiculous to that people are complaining about this season.

No one in their right mind had us making a run in the tournament. We meet all our reasonable expectations this season.

It's funny. No matter how lazy and apathetic the team plays, some guys will find a way to blame the fans.

Exactly. And until we recruit at least a few players who can be leaders on the floor and play the game with some passion....we just witnessed the future for this program. Competition wise and support wise.

Basketball can be a 5 man sport with scoring coming off cuts and passes or it can be a 2 man sport with scoring coming off picks and drives. There is room for both in any game, but when a team has this much talent and a couple of players determine the outcome by playing selfishly at times, it’s not the product many fans want to see.

I know the pro offensive game is popular. Just went to a Grizzlies game myself. But we needed ball distribution and Q and Peters should have been shooting off of a set up pass.

Defensive pressure should have been more intense for the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half to build a lead they couldn’t erase.

The fans that were told to pony up or goodbye under the ninja ain’t coming back. I know plenty. Capitalism sucks sometimes that way.

I really enjoyed the season at times this year. But for some obvious reasons, I’m looking forward to next year.

Some of these post are really getting out of contol. Throwing out words like “lazy” for the best team we have had in more then 10 years is a lazy take. I think the team has a bit of a mental collapse, but was far from lazy. I saw them diving all over the floor last night and stuff like that. Things just went as bad as it could go for us. It’s been 10 years since we last went to the big dance. This has been a great year with a bad ending. That’s a big accomplishment for our program after the huge hole the program was in. What were people expecting out of this team? A final four? I mean, you don’t go from not being in the tournament for 10 years to winning 3 or 4 games.

I will be ready to support this team when November gets close. Hopefully, nobody leaves and next year should also be an exciting year.

In a time when so many players transfer, I'll always be a big fan of both Q & Holman for coming to MSU and sticking with us over 4 years. I probably hate it for them more than anything else that we couldn't get that 1 win in the tournament.

It was a fitting end....thought they would win the first game and then lose the second one. Talented players but just never really gelled from one game to the next as a team. Basketball seems to be headed in the right direction all things considered. Still wondering how interested Howland is at this point

Stealing a page out of the Gene’s Page book. When in doubt, blame the fans.
