Yeah but that whole reality and basic economics thing.

Without you going full on sjw... the answer would be to drastically reduce the ability to get loans. I know you want to cry "but poors!" However the reason tuition is so high IS bc of loans...schools know theyll get their money no matter what bc everyone gets a loan, and they have no incentive to lower costs...however if loans were more difficult theres not enough rich ppl to fill the enrollment for every college in America..thus they have to drastically cut costs to compete for students...with Grants available for the really poor.

If college was free for all....colleges still have costs, and if I have a product or service and some sugar daddy is handing out free money...I say my costs are higher than they really are. That's called reality. Have you thought that through? Tuition will sky rocket to be paid however its funded.

Sorry for that. But theres some free education for you for the day.

Also...right now, with the way things are. I heard the military offers free college.

Have a good one.
One problem I have with loans is they include money for food, apartments, car payments etc. I wish they were only for books, tuition, fees, make the student have some skin in the game by working part time. Also, the new cash cow are on line courses, they shoyld be cheaper than brick and morter classes in my opinion.

Same here. I never had pizza till around age 10. Even then it was made from a box. Never saw color tv till 77 age 10.
We went out to eat maybe twice a year always fast food. What a treat that was.

Same here with the pizza.

cause if I wasn't, I would be Nashville right now getting ready for the tournament. Instead, another bland spaghetti dinner and watching the tube...Happy hump day to me! lol
Y'all got it all wrong. You don't have to be rich to attend the SECT, necessarily. What you do need, though, is to be "plugged in to" the right people.

Like I've stated, the wife and I were going to go this year, but plans were derailed due to her current health issues. Lodging at the team hotel, room service and shuttle to and from games for both of us was gonna cost us $800. Bummer we couldn't go, but her health comes first and foremost.

We already have plans in the works to attend next year. Gonna try to save up $ to get our tickets early as possible. She's never been to Nashville or the SECT (I've never been to the SECT either) so we will be killing two birds with one stone. We plan on attending some Reds games this summer, in the meantime. GBB! Go Redlegs!
