No surprise to me. Libs are all about decision making centered around feelings and emotions. So if you hurt their feelings by disagreeing their emotional reaction is to remove you so they can continue their emotional beliefs unfettered.

What do you think this means?

Liberals 3 times more likely to unfriend due to political beliefs than conservatives:

My eldest daughter had a similar experience. She was debating the election with a friend on Facebook. He got so upset, he unfriended her. And they've been friends for nearly 10 years.

Well unfortunately eye glass fitters don't pay very much where I live. So that career is out for me. Not sure how this post can upset you so much, unless you are overly sensitive and emotional. Which was the argument made by the prior poster.

I didn't de-friend anyone. However, I blocked people on both sides who consistently reposted fake news.

Why? Join the debate! Point out the fake news and make your points. Convince the poster that he was incorrect or convince other posters that he was incorrect and use facts to back up your case. I have been blocked by a poster because he thinks he posts obvious facts with which I disagree (because I post other facts that seem to differ). That is not enlightened thinking.

That is the equivalent of taking your toys and going home. It does seem from the NY Times survey article, that liberals tend to be far more emotional and reactionary than conservatives. It would be interesting to see the ideology of posters that have blocked other posters to see if this holds true on this board.
