I'll take the bait and beat the dead horse.........The University has basically banned students from tailgating and from the Busch campus. The kids want to tailgate. just like all of us. The difference is that many are under 21. The Alley was a fantastic idea from the athletic dept and Student Affairs shut it down. It certainly could have a few more "controls" in place to prevent any negative behavior. Police from a distance and remove any problem issues/behavior. I have spoken with dozens of students that attended the Alley and all agreed the best part was that "everyone was there". RU needs to see this. It's not about getting wasted or puking in the weeds, it's about have a fun college GameDay with friends. There is a little don't ask/don't tell regarding a student with a red cup or water bottles. Treat students like the adults they are. Act like a drunken child, then you get arrested/ticketed. Allow the other 99% to enjoy the day/event/game. If the team has a pulse, a good percentage will go to the game and you might even create some Rutgers football fans in the process.
I threw a decent size tailgate for the minny game on homecoming. We had about 25 people at it. The middlesex gestapo came over and asked our youngest looking attendee (who was 26) for ID. This cop was the same mother ****** (5'10ish 240 bald dude) who gave me a ticket in the blue lot 4 days prior to my 21st birthday my junior year for having a water bottle that had vodka in it.

Naturally, I said to him, "jesus man you've been here forever, you gave me a ticket 7 years ago 4 days prior to my 21st and cost me $750 and forced me to pick up a second job at sushi room waiting tables." His response was something along the lines of "you're lucky they waived the ______ and it wasn't over $1,000." he was trying to be funny and further said that, "these days I can't buy a drinking ticket here, these kids don't party here anymore, it used to be a great time here" to which I said, "no **** you guys ruined the whole tailgate scene here" and he responded, "no that would be your football team".

But yes, ultimately something has to be done with them, they're not there patrolling and making sure there's no problems, they truly are there to be a pain in the *** and to create ticket revenue.

I am a huge supporter of the police but that is just harassment imo. Sad story.

agreed im a big police supporter as well but it's cops like these that give police a bad name. Now some police hardo's will say, "THEY HAVE A JOB TO DO". And to that I say, no. Their job isn't to go looking for kids to write $750 tickets to, they should use their heads and use some common sense and act like humans and not robots. Mind you, we had a nice spread of food out and had all of our alcohol on display, the guy was a ******* moron to even think someone was below 21

With regard to student attendance at games In the SEC schools track student use of free tickets; don’t show and you could lose future tickets. Alabama goes so far as to track student location to make sure they don’t leave early (even during blowouts). This all seems Draconian and I don’t suggest this but there must be a way RU can communicate to the student body that they are unhappy with the lack of student support—win or lose.

Yeah, that one is better. [roll]. I gave getting a screenshot of Ms. 0:27 a college try to no avail. Were you and your pals drinking?

I get that beauty is subjective, but 99 out of 100 guys would absolutely say 0:28/0:27 is significantly hotter than the girl from your pic of Langan. Congratulations KS for being Mr. #100, lol.

@e5fdny - please weigh in here (trying to keep this conversation out of the other thread)...

I did not have binoculars but my spidey sense kicked in after being honed as a young fireman in the City. You feel them before you even see them. And that’s what happened here. Something told me to look down on the sideline and there she was. Lookin’ good!

I thought the question was Mrs. Bielema vs. Ms. 0:27. As to the one in the pic above, agreed.

Exactly and these are the same guys that drink 10 to 12 beers after their shift. Why does Rutgers even have these guys patrol the lots? Send them to Camden to break up the gangs.
