I'd have to say, I did find his interview at the Hoops Summit a little strange, where he talked about being depressed at times and his Mom helping pull him through it. Just sounded like a young man putting way too much pressure on himself to be the best and please his Mom.

He does seem like a nice kid, would just like to see him relax a little bit and enjoy the best years of his life.

Yep. I couldn't imagine having an overbearing mother like his.

Jackson's the best player in the class and can do it all, so I'm going to disagree. I love Ferguson, too.
I just don't see him as that at all. Top 10 for sure but not better then Tatum , Bam , Monk , and a healthy Giles.

Lol, Kansas fans. Bragging about picking up last minute recruits because the better schools are filled up and there's unlimited playing time for the Jayhawks.

Hey, take what you can I guess...

I fail to see any Kansas fans bragging in this thread.

Right...Jackson is the bottom of the barrel type player. But like you said, 'take what you can get.'

That must be one of the dumbest post that I have read....

You can make light of his recruitment going late but there had to be a good reason Cal stayed away from his recruitment. (see Cliff Alexander)

Never AT ALL said he was the bottom of the barrel. It's great when someone says your post is dumb.. by following up with a more idiotic post of their own.

Nothing wrong with Jackson in my eyes. But Kansas was desperate. You were very fortunate that Duke and Kentucky were done, and Zona already had plenty in that position. You're recruiting this year has literally been "Hey, don't forget about 'ol Kansas! Those other guys are full but we have all the playing time in the world!"

Oh well. Do you.

The reason was that Jackson came out of the gates with five choices: Kansas, Michigan, Maryland, MSU and Zona. It wasn't that Cal had the good sense to stay away from Jackson. Jackson never showed interest in Kentucky.

Well whoever edited it didn't go to KU. That would be like calling it Kentucky University. No fan would say that.

Says on his Twitter feed it will be announced 8:30 EST. Very odd time. Could be because Arizona is on the West Coast, but aren't they pretty much out of it?

Thought they were pretty much out of it after getting both Simmons and Alkins. Plus Allonzo Trier is coming back and they still have Ray Smith coming off a torn ACL.

Yeah Jackson calls the shots. We just take what's left over. No wait. That's KU not UK. We had 5 AA's, one at every position basically, committed and signed early but since you guys might get him when we don't need him he thumbed his nose at us. Seriously, why are you guys over here when all 4 of you could go to your own board and not to put up with 4,000 of us disputing your delusions of grandeur.

Cal doesnt deal with helicopter parents.

By the way- you've about worn out your welcome here, chief. Get the hell out of here. Congrats on your first Elite 8 in four years. to

Really hate KU and really hate them getting Jackson. He probably would have made Mich St a national title threat. Arizona could have also used him.

KU can't always underachieve. They have a great balance of talent, youth, and experience. They will be dangerous next year.

You are no issue in my book RC (Not that it matters), your local cohort not so much. You are who you are and don't hide it, I never mind that type attitude. You will admit though, for some reason Cal seems to not get stuck with issues after the fact. (This nothing toward Jackson, I'm no basketball guru and never plan to be.) Just a UK fan. Be Good I can wish you luck but not your team.;)

I take some posters with a grain of salt. You guys have the Number One class. We NEED Jackson. You guys not so much...

Whenever these guys announce via Twitter, I can't help but think, "how much is Twitter paying them for this?"

KU it is. Damn.

I think he is better than Wiggins. KU another loaded team, next year will be interesting for sure.
