Looks like the high and mighty Purple Pretenders got a dose of reality tonight against Hunter Huss. They will get a much heavier dose in two weeks when the Raiders show them the exit to yet another disappointing season. We remember last season Pretenders so be prepared for the wrath of the Raiders.

You can expect some heavy hitting in that game by the Raiders. The SC Breeze or Windbags (or whatever they call themselves) will go home with some purple skin they didn't come in with. What goes around, comes around. A run out of bounds into a coach wouldn't be a bad mistake either. If you are going to get 15 yards, then get your money's worth. The crap that goes on with that team is condoned at the coaching level.
At this point I fully expect LNC to beat NG and HH to beat Ashbrook. A victory by the Storm over us would take the cake but it would go with the weirdest conference seasons I have ever seen. Yes, I know we are better than the Storm but as fouled up as the conference standings have been, I am getting spooked as a fan.
I didn't say that we would lose. I am saying that this conference is completely fouled up. Anything can happen, especially the unexpected.
Anything less than another 75-0 thrashing next week will be somewhat disappointing. The team (and coaches) will remember last year and respond. I don't know all the conference where to fors, but I hope our win next week keeps the Purple Pretenders out of the playoffs. Just like Hillary, they don't deserve to be there.
Sasha, I just read your analysis and it looks like the Purple Pretenders will probably sneak in under any scenario. Well then, roll it up Raiders, let's shoot for at least 78 - 0 and drop kick them into the playoffs. We are 152 - 0 against LNC in three years. We should be that or better with the Pretenders in two games.
