Yes. Or recently.

It's 2017 this isn't uncommon

Here's an idea - go to the movie theater and actually pay for a ticket to watch the movie you want to watch (I know this is a foreign idea). What this does is help to keep movies getting made and get money into the hands of the people making the movies. It's called 'paying for' and 'putting a value on' goods and services you desire instead of stealing them.....

Not a big fan of Kid Rock, but he's spot on with this PSA......

Spare me your sanctimony please. It's 2017 and movies are constantly breaking records.

We go to the movies as often as we can. Not that I need to explain myself, but I've got four kids with the oldest being 6. Going to the movies requires planning and getting a baby sitter. We felt like watching a movie last minute that we didn't catch in the theater and I'll probably buy digitally when it comes out.

You have kids???? Oh I didn't know - by all means please steal then - my fault!!! You're right your kids HAD to see the movie that is currently movie theater, and you have justified it so well that since you have 4 kids and movies are breaking records that it is ok to steal.

By the way I have kids too and if I don't have the cash or want to to go the movies I stream off of Amazon or Netflix which I paid for. It may not be the movie we want to see, but there are thousands of others that will fit the bill. Downloading a movie currently in the theaters or not yet out on video to purchase is STEALING. Sorry if I'm coming off as SANCTIMONIOUS!

Amazon Firestick or FireTV with Kodi will get it done. Install Exodus on it. Plenty of 'How to' guides are a google away.

Give me a break....

No - give me a break! I enjoy movies and music and if people like you continue to try to buck the system get it for free we won't have the cool things we have now. Somehow it's become the norm to do this - it's beyond me how anybody who thinks about this for more than 2 seconds doesn't get it's wrong on so many different levels.

I understand you're thinking, but watching a shared movie is not illegal. It's sharing a movie that's illegal.

Yes, i know it's a slippery slope.

EJ you're a self-entitled thief. If everyone thought like you and did what you do, there would be no movie industry. Yet you somehow think you're allowed to take advantage of loopholes and illegal procurement. Then you attack someone who calls you out on callously breaking the law. Wow.

Peerblock takes care of that

Just run a VPN. Which pretty much everyone should be doing these days regardless. I run Express VPN on all my devices (PC, IOS, etc), but there are many other alternatives available. It is relatively inexpensive given the benefits it provides and does a pretty good job of staying out of the way. Just stay away from the free ones, as VPN's are an area where you get what you pay for. If it helps you avoid one issue online over its lifetime, it more than pays for itself IMO.

Techie neophyte here. Am I correct in assuming that in order to use Netflix, Roku, Hulu etc. that you need a good hi-speed internet connection? We have satellite for tv, and Verizon mi-fi for the internet. I should add that cell phone reception is spotty too. No, I'm not willing to move.

Get over yourselves.

You realize you are no different than a looter. If everyone did what you did we would either have an extremely compromised movie industry or none at all. But you're right makes sense to get other people's intellectual property for free - damn paying money for it - not your responsibility!

Watch32.is

The quality is not great on all of them but you do find the diamonds in the rough which you can simply play on to your TV through Apple TV.

Good job by you standing up for the billionaires. Sanctimonious prick. How many times should I have to buy the same ******* album or movie to satisfy you? Vinyl, 8 track, cassette, CD and now I should pay for the same **** a fifth time for digital format? VHS, DVD, Blue ray now my stupid Xfinity library where I have to pay full price but only get to keep the damn thing as long as I keep paying Comcast their pound of flesh a month? You, Kid Rock, the RIAA, and the MPAA can cry me a river.

So your argument is that since technology keeps evolving, you make a choice to keep up with said technology evolution and have to keep spending money on the same movie or song? That would be like saying why should I have to pay to upgrade my kitchen, bathroom or even wardrobe - I paid for it years ago. Based on your theory once you pay for most goods or services once why would you have to pay again - you should automatically get the next best thing without spending a dime!!! Brilliant-you're a rocket scientist!!!!

Hey *******, you're taking this to a whole different level. Streaming is sharing which is not illegal. The ones who upload it are breaking the law. We all don't have the luxury of going to the movies as we have jobs, kids, social obligations. Some times I wanna sit my fat *** on the couch and watch a new release.

Just go to a drive in and you can pick a variety of choices ,forget about streaming sites that you only see fish in that stream.

( can't wait to see the replies to this dumb joke, but joke's better than arguing about streaming is stealing or if it's not)

Don't forget to mention that by doing it infront of his kids they are almost guaranteed to start doing heroin by age 7.
