I think the annoucers are from Alabama. They barely know anything about our kids.

USM field is a good venue for it...high school stadium

What the hell is Will Rogers doing back in the game...he's obviously limping around

That's Jake Wimberly, he's from Mississippi and does a lot of work with HS football in this state. I think he's done a good job, but I've only watched the second half and now OT

That win by Mississippi seems mildly familiar . . .

[The Situation]

So, theoretical question. Our guys beat their guys. Over time, we split our guys between us and Ole Miss, and let's say they split theirs between Bama and Awwbarn. So, it stands to reason that going forward, perhaps we could compete with them? Obviously out of state recruiting will favor them. Plus we lose half our top recruits to them recently. But it's a good sign nonetheless.

This also shows you how big home field advantage is - in any sport.

That's not how it works. The elite schools get tons of OOS talent. They are picking up 4 and 5 star kids from FL, TX and GA on the reg. We rarely land highly rated OOS talent. And if we do, they rarely pan out. Hopefully Marks will be a stud.

Now I guess it all comes down to coaching. **
