I can't understand how anyone would think that Bob Stoops would come here. He left a much better coaching situation in Oklahoma. If he was going to stay coaching, he would have stayed there.

Stoops just retired from a program that he built from the ground up into a Top 10 contender. Why would he agree to join the skidmark that is Nebraska? We could offer him $10 million a year he and he'd still turn it down. Anybody who even considered that proposition needs to check into a rehab clinic for crackheads right now.

Guys dad died young. He is older than his dad was. He retired because he knows life is short and wants to spend what time he has left with his family. I hope he enjoys retirement and doesn't get back into coaching. There is more to life than football.
