The difference is goalie play in this one. Stony Brook stopping everything, RU might as well play with an empty net
Lax rarely has this. We beat everyone we should. We just haven't been beating teams we shouldn't the last two seasons.

not really...we've thrown the ball away unnecessarily 3 times now...in a game where the underdog is gaining confidence that's been huge
i know this team is "young" but wow...the decision making has been really bad. If not for SB's brainfarts we'd be in huge trouble...

This team like last year lacks physicality. No one wants to hit someone and do the little things necessary to turn games around.
Wow this lacrosse team sucks. Another year at the bottom of the Big Ten. Not “just a little” halfcourt offense, there’s 0 halfcourt offense. Will get blown out multiple times by teams who don’t turn it over in the middle the way Stony Brook did today
2021 and 2022 were the aberrations. This is Rutgers lacrosse under Brian Brecht most years. Disastrous losses to low level programs that torpedo the season.
We keep hearing how the roster is “athletic” but we lose a lot more 1v1s than we win.
Absolutely disgraceful loss. To be up 4–0 at home and then get outscored 9–4 over the next 3 1/2 periods? No excuses whatsoever. Sorry guys don’t wanna hear it. Disgusting.
Well. We saw what happened. I understand you’ll never criticize the coach but you’re a lacrosse guy. You know this is unacceptable.
Offense has very little leadership. You have to have an attackman who, preferably your x, that controls the game. Our attack is all wrong. We play two guys that don't carry the ball and can only shoot. We are also very young and you can see that at the end of the game. I said there would be some maddening play and here we are. Our shot selection is very questionable. We take so many low angle shots.
The biggest issue is the attack and our lack of off ball movement. We are very easy to guard. Substitution patters are questionable. Sommer didn't play all game then he's in at the most crucial times? Jungerkes had 2 goals. As a SSDM he outscored our attack. That can't happen. Ball was getting stuck in sticks and

I cant believe how bad that possession was after the timeout when we had to score. Thats where we need change and I would have done it last year, no excuse for another year of this.
At what point do we talk about firing Seremet as OC? Offense especially in 6 on 6 has been disgusting the last few years now.

Agreed. Low angle low probability shots have been a problem for years. It’s like they are coached to attack the side of the goal versus attack down hill.
Been hearing for years that Seremet knows hat needs to be done to right the ship only to roll the same ******** out every year. He needs to go. Or it will cost Brian his job.
