Joe Manchin or Tulsi Gabbard before Joe and her were pushed out of the Democratic Party for being middle of road moderates with common sense
Joe Manchin wasn't pushed out, he stepped down because he knew he was going to be beat by Jim Justice and you're damn right Tulsi was pushed out because she's a certified fruit loop.

You are asking the impossible

Dpic73 does not think

He uses Google and AI sites to hunt stuff you paste that is left liberal ranting raving screaming banshee illogical analysis of news from the sites looking for clicks.

So understand dpic73 reacts not thinks to discussions on policy or especially if you use print or say the word TRUMP.

Dog goes rabid at that mention.

Kind of entertaining to use the word just to ses the reaction.

she was a terrible candidate. She needed to, but couldn't, separate her policies from Biden
This reminds me of the interview on "The View" where they gave her the softest of softballs .... "What, if anything, would you do differently than Biden did?" Kammy: "uh, uh, nothing". That was the moment she was fired. The worst possible answer from the word salad queen and she couldn't come up with anything!

She truly was the worst candidate in US political history.

@dpic73 can you enlighten us? we are all ready to learn. why were libs wrong when they told me the market AND economy would crash and that inflation would skyrocket? surely you know the answer.
I've never pretended to be an economic expert but is there a reason you can't do your own research, like you do when it comes to your healthcare?

There are several reasons including the long delay between tariffs going into effect and the consumer being affected, the fact that the initial tariffs he proposed were never implemented, countries re-routing their goods through other countries that have lower tariffs, companies temporarily absorbing the costs and companies just now needing to re-stock after pre-loading their inventory before tariffs went into effect.

So there's still time for the worst impacts to become reality, though us TI gazillionaires may barely notice, the little guy is already feeling the impact.

rest assured, doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I'm surprised you referred to your positions as "opinions". You are always so sure of what you post.
Yes, I have strong opinions that I regularly share backup for but I will always push back against things you've said like "I don't care that Trump committed" crimes. If that's your position, I will strongly push back because I'll never give him a pass on what he's done in the past, nor will I talk about him like he's a normal, sane person. Other than that, I'm far from a know it all and don't pretend to be.

cute little poll lol. this reminds me of similar ones that showed Kamala leading the greatest political figure of the last 100 years lol.

I'm assuming you researched actual market and economy metrics and didn't like what you found, so didn't post them.

chin up, lib. maybe we'll see a recession soon.

It would be so embarrassing to be a red hat right now, knowing you'll never be invited to another party. Sad

? Maybe read the post I responded to? 🤷‍♂️
I'll try again. What's your point?

Nobody ever said that some tariffs won't cause higher prices. The question is how much and what are the impacts. So far inflation is still manageable. The biggest contributor to inflation has been housing, not imports.

The point was answering his question that asked why tariffs haven't had a hugely negative impact yet and I did my best to explain. I wasn't trying to win an internet argument or holding myself up as some sort of expert, just sharing what I've read about why the economy hasn't reacted as some predicted, because I was asked. Comprende?

Reports that yesterday was worst breadth for a postive day in decades. Can take it as a sign of market weakness/fragility, or a sign of continued mega cap dominance.
Crazy out there right now.

That explains why my 401k went down and my brokerage account soared.

Michael Burry folds. “The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent” comes to mind.

Is he just too early, or has the market fundamentally changed? Idk
