No. He was pushed out so he can come back in at any time and be eligible.

This, defense gets to sub thing really shoots you in the foot. If I was a defensive player coming off the field, I would just run off really slowly because it chews the offense's clock.

They need to change the rules so defenses can’t do that. It will probably take a big name team losing because of the rule before it changes.

Right but I thought you had to actually be back in bounds before the ball is thrown. Maybe I'm wrong on the rule

The penalties and lack of 3rd down conversions are plenty enough reason to fire Monty. Not to mention the godawful game management... It's freaking horrible.
