That's some seriously bad game management. Wait way too long to get your kicker on the field so you barely have time to get the snap off. Then call timeout just as he's actually making the kick.

This is really the zeitgeist of Monty. Kicker magically gets kick off and splits uprights. But we called timeout.

Creativity on third down is severely lacking.

You don’t have to do anything fundamentally unsound. You can run out of your base package, but for God’s sake, disguise it, change the timing or personnel, something.

100% agree that Zach Smith is terrible! He MAY have a slightly stronger arm than Boomer, emphasis on MAY, but Boomer proved last year he has better command and is the smarter of the two. Monty’s loyalty to the Baylor connection is disgusting

You did the exact same play on the last conversion. Of course they're going know it's coming, moron. Just because a play works the first time doesnt mean you only have to do that play in those situations

Two players stacked on that play. One keying the RB, the other the ball. It never had a chance. This isn’t high school. Taylor is not the best player out there who will break a tackle and still get to the line. Terrible.

I know nothing about coaching, but Monty doesn't seem to improve from one year to the next. He seems to peaked in a valley of mediocrity and abject stupidity
