I'm still waiting on Bobby Knight to shake Joe Hall's hand after the 1975 win over IU in the regional final.

That was before my time but sounds like he was a sore loser like Porntino and his blow by handshakes.

I was watching the replay of the 1975 Mideast Regional Final against IU and one of the announcers made it a point to note that Bobby Knight stormed off the court into the tunnel without shaking hands after the game was over.

I'll be satisfied if I never have to hear from Bobby Knight ever again.

He was at one time one the most accomplished and highly respected coaches in the country and he pissed it away by being one of the most insufferable bullies anywhere.

In the last 20+ years he's largely been irrelevant but whenever given a chance just confirms what a boorish jerk he truly is. Any media outlet that gives him a platform to spew his nonsense needs to be called out IMO.

Yet, people in Indiana think he's a god and can do no wrong. Just goes to show how classless their fan base is. I lived in Evansville for a year and the worship for Bobby Knight was similar to that of Jim Jones.

Knight is officially irrelevant. He could have been the biggest name on ESPN, but couldn't overcome his biases.

He doesn't have the personality to deal with humans in public. I don't wish anything for or against him.

His silence however, is louder than his gripes.

Not only Knight. Multiple talking heads and writers declared Cal was ruining college basketball. But K adopts the same MO. And he's a frickin' genius adapting to the times.

and they like to say he is beating Cal at his own game...Like Cal was the creator of the one and done rule.

Now you're shortchanging Krzyzewski when it comes to Marvin Bagley. Bagley wasn't a one & done. He attended high school, my understanding, for a grand total of 2.5 years. Yet incredibly he will be eligible to play at Duke this coming season. Talk about spitting in the face of every other Division 1 school out there.

Doing nothing but taking meth, eating corn and watching losing basketball will do that to a person.
