Last night was a game for the ages. Not just because we won and how we won. But the crowd was unbelievable, the team played unbelievable.

The block by McConnell, the tough shots by geo, the dunk by cliff, the defense down the stretch.

I've been going to games for over 20 years, I've never heard the arena as loud as it was in the last two minutes.

Cherry on top was my Ohio St alum boss who's office is right next to my desk didn't even show face today. Worked remotely lol.

Syracuse games back in the day was probably the closest it's gotten from a volume perspective

We’ve had big comebacks, upsets, rivalry games, games coming down to a defensive stop or a bucket with the clock winding down many times over the years against big time opponents. Fans on this board rarely if ever all agree on anything and there seems to be a consensus that the last minute was possibly the loudest RAC ever. I’m only left wondering what was it about this game that set it apart from all of those other big moments?

In terms of why it was so loud, I'm guessing it's because nearly every seat was filled, there were very few OSU fans in the building and as shields said the importance of the game.

Felt this way watching on T.V.

Usually you have the occasional jeers when RU is shooting FT, but it felt dead silent while Geo was shooting the 2 free throws to take the lead.

Then it went back to an eruption of sound.

the during game loudness can be debated and the games mentioned are all worthy....was there for them all

I will say the loudest I have ever heard the crowd pre-game was the PSU game for the atlantic 10 NCAA berth, or what ever the
league was called at that point.'

I remember walking up to the outside doors to come in, and hearing the crowd roaring over and over, through the closed doors, still a distance away

.....I thought for a second that I had misheard the start time of the game and it was already in progress...

No, it was just the student section going nuts, a good half hour pregame.....so pumped up they were, as well as the rest of the crowd...

Not to put the cart before the horse, but if we go 3-3 in the next 6, and are 11-8 going into that final home game against Penn State, get your tickets now .. that will be a scene like we haven’t seen
