Looks like Stewart is listed as Probable!! That is best news I have seen all year!!
He will have another dumb penalty and exit the game early with an injury. Status quo for DS.
If he's that critical to our success get ready for 6-6 season at best.Let’s hope not!! He needs to get his draft stock back up. And I don’t see Carolina having much of a season w/o him.
He would draw Double teams weekly, resulting in Others excelling. and Yes, this team is IMO is very fragile, a loss or two (by a point or two) would devastate them. And i feel this game can easily come down to two or three plays.. every PLAYwill matter, say a Strip sack and momentun changes... SO yes i do feel this team needs someone to be the difference MAKER!!If he's that critical to our success get ready for 6-6 season at best.
Crawford said he expects Peak to play. He expects Stewart to play on a pitch count.Take the money and pack your bags. Yall are going to be disappointed each and every week. The sooner he leaves the better off we are. Listing his as probable just bought beamer some time before donors and fans start to get a little miffed. All that money paid to that child for nothing in return. Not even a warm body at practice.
Lets see, he was a 5 star recruit out of High School, was a Freshman All American at USC, and is 6'5" 250 lbs, you cant teach size!!! was injured last year, played hurt.. To be honest, i didnt think he wold be on the field as a Gamecock again!!just dont see the hype with this guy...enlighten me
I thought he was done as well. We'll see how he plays, if he plays.Lets see, he was a 5 star recruit out of High School, was a Freshman All American at USC, and is 6'5" 250 lbs, you cant teach size!!! was injured last year, played hurt.. Wow, an NFL scout responds, Nice.....Just take the money you've been given and invest now. You won't be an NFL player and you won't be remembered positively here. Cannot believe we give children this kind of money for nothing.
I wish I could enlighten you but there‘s not much to go on.just dont see the hype with this guy...enlighten me

You are seriously on a hate trip if you think a healthy Dylan Stewart won't be an NFL Player. He was injured and had an up and down year, but that happens with players. Think I recall Jadeveon having 2 sacks his senior year with us. He is still collecting NFL Checks.Just take the money you've been given and invest now. Key word: "Healthy"You are seriously on a hate trip if you think a healthy Dylan Stewart won't be an NFL Player. He was injured and had an up and down year, but that happens with players. Think I recall Jadeveon having 2 sacks his senior year with us. He is still collecting NFL Checks.
(btw, coop, I know we butt heads a lot, but this time it's strictly football. We disagree and that's ok) I agree with your premise.....if he was healthy. I don't think he is. Unless Stewart has been secretly practicing, I agree there is no way he plays Saturday.Key word: "Healthy"
Stewart is not healthy. Beamer said he "basically has a broken back" ....
Beamer also said just two or three weeks ago that Stewart hasn't had any physical contact, not even hitting the sleds... Why???? - (Because he's not healthy enough)
There is ZERO CHANCE Stewart plays on Saturday. If you're the coach, are you putting someone's child out there to let another SEC team pound on them, when they haven't had any physical contact since November of last year???? - I think not. - Which is exactly why you won't see Stewart on Saturday, his NFL stock is dropping fast. I'm with Johnny on this one, the sooner this kid leaves us, the better. Sucks he got hurt, I wish him the best, but bye.
I believe Beamer mentioned last week that Stewart and Peak were practicing in pads? He said something about their status being positive b/c he said "sorry to disappoint the conspiracy theorists."Unless Stewart has been secretly practicing, I agree there is no way he plays Saturday.
I think coaches today don't take the injury reports seriously at all. If you list a player as "probable" and he doesn't play, so what? If you list him as "doubtful" and he does play, so what? Unless a player is listed as "out", he can play or not play and it doesn't matter.
I believe Beamer mentioned last week that Stewart and Peak were practicing in pads? He said something about their status being positive b/c he said "sorry to disappoint the conspiracy theorists."
Even so, 2 weeks of practice after no football activity since November won't cut it.
I'm not a hater. I value truth, honesty and hard work. I've seen neither from him or the coaches regarding him. I also don't like giving children like him money for nothing. As a GC Club member and ticket (4) holder for 55 years I dang sure get to express my thoughts. You are seriously on a hate trip if you think a healthy Dylan Stewart won't be an NFL Player. That seals it then, he ain’t playing. Beamer just can’t help himself at saying pointless things in defensive ways.I believe Beamer mentioned last week that Stewart and Peak were practicing in pads? He does act defensive about a lot of topics. That seals it then, he ain’t playing. Beamer just can’t help himself at saying pointless things in defensive ways.
Man, hear me..... there is nothing more that I would love to see than Stewart become the next Clowney. I really mean that.Yep your account has definitely been

But, I'm sorry, you just can't throw any kid out there to the wolves in a full speed SEC game with only 2 weeks of physical practice. It would be unethical of the highest order. You know in your heart that what I'm saying is true. It's not right. UNLESS - Beamer has been lying the whole time, (which is really just coach speak and not real lying, which I'd be fine with)
But if Beamer was telling the truth about no physical nothing until just a week or two ago? Nah, I'm sorry bro, not right to throw a kid out there on the field like that. Not right at all.
I would not expect much, either due to missing the first two games and a lot of practice.I wouldn't expect much.
All goodMan, hear me..... there is nothing more that I would love to see than Stewart become the next Clowney. I really mean that.

I was wrong. Stewart played. - Will eat my crow. I'm glad he got some reps and didn't injure himself. I wasn't sure about Beamer until tonight. I really wanted him to work out here...but it's obvious to me now that is not going to happen. He sunk his stock into the SS. Sellers and that's what will seal his fate. Dumb move. All good
