And yet, Bird has two seasons of 50-40-90 and Steph has one. Steve Nash has 4. Steph is great, no doubt. Perhaps he is the best shooter of all time but to definitively say, without a doubt, the GOAT is hyperbole. And, in the clutch, Steph can't hold Bird's jock who was one of the greatest clutch shooters in NBA history.
Larry averaged 1.9 threes per game in his career. Nash averaged 3.2. Curry has taken 8.5 threes per game. When half the shots you take are 3-pointers, even at his ridiculous .434 percentage, he’s not going to have over .500 on his field goals.

Waited over 24 hours to click on this thread. Still expected two bowling balls and a missile as an appetizer.

Well, his 30-point streak ends tonight; definitely had a "yikes" game, especially in the fourth. However, the 50-40-90 is still well in play (although tonight definitely didn't help). His team was up 11 when he came in with 6:00 to go in the fourth and they lose by 4 (went into rare choke mode tonight). This ends a ridiculous stretch of six games of 12+ FG's on at least 48% shooting; the last team to hold him under 45% shooting? The Wizards.
