Yes, but you probably don't want your HC asking people to even if it does fire you up and gets you excited.Pretty sure people already sneak in alcohol to sporting events. Lol
I think it is mostly a liability thingIt's lame as hell that the PC police are after the guy over a somewhat sarcastic comment like that. Basically, "do what you've gotta do" to be fired up and rowdy for an afternoon game. Who hasn't brought a flask into a football game and asked for their soda to be light on the ice? Get real.
I am sure. Never get between John Morgan and a buffet, or a $20 bill.I

We need Mitch back ASAP!Nah. He said something about sneaking in flasks and yelling at Bama players. But it was all tongue in cheek. He just wants a rowdy atmosphere tomorrow.
He did have Noah going off during the summer practices !We need Mitch back ASAP!
Yes he said sneak in flasks and yell obscenities at Alabama .. Who gives a **** we are going to anyway he just said it out loud.... We are crazy and I love Stein and love the energy he brings to the program....Nah. He said something about sneaking in flasks and yelling at Bama players. But it was all tongue in cheek. I do not think the head coach should be saying the things he is saying. Bring a flask, get plastered, scream obscenities at Alabama. I understand some fans do that anyway but who wants to take their small kids to that type of environment. Nothing I hate more than listening to a lot mouth drunk. Oh, and get off my lawn mother ******. That will be struck but Will Stein gets away with it.Yes he said sneak in flasks and yell obscenities at Alabama .. Lighten up don't turn a pea into a mountain . Sarcasm can sometimes come out wrong. We all from time to time stick our foot in our mouth .I do not think the head coach should be saying the things he is saying. Bring a flask, get plastered, scream obscenities at Alabama. You were the kid that always won the Sportsmanship award and your team banquet aren't you?I do not think the head coach should be saying the things he is saying. Only one, I was 12 years old then. I learned early how to win and how to behave. I was smart enough, even then, to know that you do not accomplish much if you have to depend on foul mouthed drunks. I am kidding but , not by much. Stein needs to watch his mouth a little more. I hope his big talk can actually show up on the field. You were the kid that always won the Sportsmanship award and your team banquet aren't you?
Oh please. Harmless.I was worried the flask comment would come back to him. Probably not the smartest thing to say.

It doesn’t bother me, but this quote could definitely come back to bite him in the *** if there are any fan incidents tomorrow. It’s the sort of quote that first year coaches full of gusto might say that more experienced coaches know to avoid.Kentucky football coach Will Stein urged fans to arrive early, "sneak a flask in," and scream obscenities at Alabama to make them feel unwanted at Kroger Field.
Not just the flask comment, but also advocating that we scream “obscenities” at the opposing players.I was worried the flask comment would come back to him. Probably not the smartest thing to say.

I appreciate his enthusiasm, but that was NOT wise word choice.
I think that's exactly the reason too. Gotta love his attitude though.I
