The kid has to make a decision would he feels is Best for him I wish him the bestJust one more example of why people should not get excited over verbals this early in the game.
There will be more.
Another open ship for Rutgers but good luck to the kid .The kid has to make a decision would he feels is Best for him I wish him the best
This year is going to be worse than past years. Once things really start to open up and kids start making visits it going to be hard to keep up. So many kids are committing not having visited many schools or even the school they committed to.There is no class until they sign. It’s barely worth following.
If we don’t play in 2020 and player visits diminish even somewhat I think e keep most . You always lose a few and gain a few along the way . It is something different and makes us hopefully wiser. He's from Florida so perhaps it's a distance thing. RU has benefited from the desire of some recruits to remain close to home as a result of the uncertainty caused by the pandemic, so it's only logical we could lose an out-of-state recruit to the same reason.

I honestly don't know if things are gonna open up: I could see the exact opposite happening. This year is going to be worse than past years. If they don’t I see the NCAA pushing back signing periods until they do. Either way there will likely be a lot of movement.I honestly don't know if things are gonna open up: I could see the exact opposite happening.
We should go back after him AND his buddy Brantley. MSU.. offering guys who verballed to us... how dare they! Heck.. go through MSU's whole commit list and find someone to weasel away.. maybe someone at Johnson's position.
Yeah find someone to steal away just because. This only sounds like a good strategy only from a fan's perspective...lol.
Revenge is a popular sentiment among opposing fans.
MICHIGAN- -NJ. Not much ,if any difference in distance from FLORIDA.He's from Florida so perhaps it's a distance thing. If Ash offered we should passI mean don't get me wrong they do have a DB from MD that I like a lot. Ash offered the kid but Schiano never did. Kid is listed at 5'11" so he's maybe just a tad under that and GS likes taller DBs.
If Ash offered we should pass
No loss, Ash recruit. Probably saw the writing on the wall that he wasn't going to be able to compete against the level of Schiano recruits. Michigan State better start getting used to getting our sloppy seconds going forward.
I want Raines from West Orange who is a NJ player and pretty ok too.Ash offered lots of good players, just never got much of a sniff from them. He would send out like over 400 offers each year.
No recruit in the 2021 class is an Ash recruit. Every kid with an RU offer, currently 99, is based on Schiano either re-offering the recruit or issuing it for the first time to the recruit. Quite a few didn't get re-offered.
I can tell you this kid was barely on the radar when Schiano took his commit. Even though he was offered in late January (per TOS) the mods hadn't mentioned him really as a top target prior to his commit. So we were a little surprised on the pay side when it happened. He's very athletic but raw, still needs a year or two before he's on the field as a DB between S&C and technique.

Unless we have another D or O line guy come aboard I’ll take a guy who can play specials ,WR or even in the D backfield... but things right now are somewhat fluid... I still want Estime and VanDerMark.I've been high on him for awhile now. Just not sure he's RU bound.
RU currently has Davis, Fox, Patterson and Parsons (2020 blueshirt) at WR & Salaam is a Blackshear type RB in this class.

It was already bad. I stopped following this stuff years ago. None of it matters until they sign. Then you know what your class looks like. This year is going to be worse than past years. Once things really start to open up and kids start making visits it going to be hard to keep up. So many kids are committing not having visited many schools or even the school they committed to.
How do we know the vernal was accepted. I’m guessing it was but coaches are not allowed to comment on it so how do we know?Ash never offered, Greg offered.
Greg would never accept a commitment from someone who he did not offer. It is not that hard to understand, just a little common sense.

I think MSU is further from Florida than RU is.He's from Florida so perhaps it's a distance thing.
