Now that the alcohol has worn off.

It sucks we lost but this wont be the last time we lose but also not the last we win....

I really like the speed of the team
yesterday...we looked fast.

On to N Illinois...that will be a tough game

Keep ya head up coaches and players...we are getting better just not as fast we want.

Would have been nice to see some of younger Dlineman for a few plays.

I think our defense will be better outside of that altitude.

Alcohol is just starting, I always save it for the day after! :D

But you're right, stay positive, time to move on to Northern Illinois, cu was better down the stretch and found a way to win, have to give them props for that.

Fast is an understatement. This defense swarms to the ball like we haven't seen in a very long time. Eliminate the breakdowns and this is a really good squad.

Lamar Jackson tipped that ball at the end. Just not enough.

It was a perfect play. Just sucks that it was executed vs us in a dire situation. Coverage was great on that play. The throw and catch were just better

That's actially a positive...a great throw had to beat us not just getting ran over.

Agree, that play didn't beat us, it was several others leading up to that play. That play was simply amazing.

I was watching at a bar and didn't see who was in on the DLine. Please don't tell me we played a game in Boulder, CO and didn't substitute often on defense. If that's the case, no wonder we were ragged by the 4th quarter. That would really be a sad statement on our coaching staff, and I would get pissed off all over again about this game.

We rotated about like we did in game 1. Depending on the package. DL did a decent job. Too many missed tackles on the edge and in space again. Honas and Barry got held a bunch. Spun them clear around. Guys just stuck their arm out and got them

I’m actually fairly pleased with our defense. No one expected them to be all world, just better than last year. So far I think they are better than last year. They did enough yesterday to provide the offense opportunities to put the game away. 7 turnovers in two weeks. Has the offense scored a single point off of turnovers yet???

The offense, which was supposed to be our strong point this season, has been anything but strong. I love AM and the kid has all the potential in the world, but he hasn’t exactly lived up to the potential Heisman hopes of the preseason. He was just bad last weekend. He was better yesterday, but he still played a contributing role in all three turnovers. Mills has yet to live up to the hype. And the OL is just plain bad.

IMO the defense is doing enough to keep us in games. The offense has to capitalize on opportunities.

Agree. On the flip side we aren’t willing to give our guys a chance to make that play on offense. Too often our receivers have to be wide open for AM to pull the trigger - he isn’t even anticipating them breaking free and throwing the ball on time.

Our offense is a mess. I think AM wanted to win Heisman and is afraid to make mistakes. Go make plays, kid.

We substituted a lot and were still tired.
