There were NC State fans...
discussing why the latest testing happened on the various message boards, and the timing. There were comments that Corbin found out about positives from tests earlier in the week and demanded the NCAA retest NC State last minute.
I first saw it on 247. Since then I've seen the same thing hinted at via Twitter, although it's still generally coming from NC State fans.
The NCAA should be required to provide a timeline and explanation for why they determined 2 positives passed the threshold for testing all players, including vaccinated, when that decision was made, and a timeline of tests and results.

Listening to the NC ST coach yesterday was infuriating. He wasn't being told what was happening with his team. Was never given any info about why the retests were being conducted and had no idea what to tell the parents of his kids.
They just had to sit in separate rooms while NCAA personnel entered and left like the gestapo. Then he was taken into another area, sat down and presented his options. He had to decide then and there whether to take the field or not.
