A pretty good team.. in a league that is all but gone... with a crappy name. Got it. The AFL was better than the IFL though with those big nets and all. 2008 killed it for them, that, Bon Jovi and Kiss.

I don't remember honestly. I just remember reading some of them. Apparently they let residents of the City vote on the new school name. I remember Staunton, Queen City.

As for storm, what I read in article or saw was that the idea was that a storm brings forth change or something like that.

Whether there was a reason or not, I dunno, but someone on social media had posted the new logo. It looks very similar to just a cross between Riverheads and Harrisonburg together.

Yea I figured it was rooted in the whole SJW "revenge" thing. Whatever. I guess it could be worse.. I had predicted they'd give the school a dumb name or correctly name the school Staunton but then give the teams a dumb name. This time it was the latter. These SJW fruits never let me down.

I agree with the earlier post, that "Blue Storm" or something along those lines would have been cooler. "Storm" Seems like a WNBA team name or women's professional soccer or something. But it is what it is.

Well it could be that they didn't want to go the way of Harrisonburg. They are the Blue Streaks. And again, their new logo does look like a mix between Harrisonburg Blue Streaks and Riverheads Gladiators

Perhaps. Or it could be that Political Correctness has run amok in schools. Whatever. Hope the entire Staunton community is happy.. and not just a handful of self-made "victims" and the schoolboard with the leftist agenda.

But hey, once again, good luck to the Staunton "Storm". All those titles in basketball dont count now I guess..
