Excellent statement BUT doesn’t likely not too comforting for those seniors without eligibility remaining. I feel SO bad for all of them.

This . It’s a bs statement that I guess he or someone on his staff felt compelled to release . It doesn’t hurt but doesn’t provide any value or closure either.

No we wouldn’t . Not sure why he felt the need for it , but it wasn’t needed . Now if he said that pike was getting his ncaa tournament bonus, well then there was some news it. This was a PC bs statement. Like I said it doesn’t hurt, but not needed. Kinda similar to that BS letter he sent to us last year when he kept ash.
So true. Words are about all many of us can do right now, aside from good hygiene. Cut the guy some slack. This statement shows that he, and by extension the athletic department, gives a damn about what their student athletes are going through.
Well no. Actually not enough. He could/should have singled/called out the seniors for all teams who gave their heart and soul for our beloved Rutgers who now have no opportunity to continue their athletic careers as college athletes. It’s about them, not us. As Ron Harper JR started “march sadness”
