State Track

I was reading the state basketball thread and thought I would start a new thread about what is going to happen in May. How are they going to get 10000 people together for 2 days in Omaha? No fans will not help much as coaches and athletes make up a large portion of the people at Burke. There is only 2 tracks in the state that could hold the meet (Burke and Papio South). Someone mentioned in the basketball post that Lincoln needs another arena when they dont even have a track that can support fans. I would assume they will move to a 3 or 4 day schedule to accommodate but I just wanted to know if anyone had some ideas.

I could see them saying only family members of the qualifiers can compete

If you can't split into multiple days for multiple classes could we see a finals-only state meet with two classes one day and two the next.

Interesting to see what happens.
