Report from Lake Maloney Golf Course grounds crew sprayers have been broken for four years. Dandelions and Canadian Thistles are hard to kill by mowing them off. At least mother nature had a wildfire to burn off the overgrown ruff. Hole 11 must have had a cow get out the night before and leave the kids a pile to play around in the fairway. We even witnessed on hole 4 how to clean out a port a potty while the kids were putting on hole 3 and teeing off on hole 4. What a Joke!!
All classes should rotate around the different courses and get to experience what a wonderful course they have out in North Platte. Maybe the NSAA should get off the behinds and check these courses out before awarding the State Championships.

Lake Maloney Golf Course should never host a state championship tournament. The NSAA is a joke for allowing a state championship to keep being hosted there. I just checked and Lake Maloney Golf Course is the site of the 2020 class D state championship. The NSAA needs to step up and force North Platte to host it on one of the other 3 courses there.

There should never be a state tournament at Lake Maloney golf course. Put C and D back in Kearney and rotate them between Meadowlark and Kearney Country Club. Better yet, go back to having all four classes in Lincoln playing on the city courses.
