Some of these hospitals are just getting back to somewhat normal censuses after being at around 40-50 % a month ago...the Government put in a Regional overflow Covid ICU’s that were relatively empty, are they not going to utilize those?

The Feds spent almost $60 Million on a Covid Overflow Hospital in Memphis.... don’t know if it ever had a patient.Yeah, there really needs to be a better option here. A lot of nurses and other medical professionals had their hours cut way back the first time we did this. And the hospitals themselves lost a ton of money. I just don’t believe this is a sustainable answer to this issue. Maybe a band-aid for a few weeks but a covid overflow facility is needed.
We are at a record level of hospitalizations for It Mississippi. The ICU situation is very serious in many places with others headed that way rapidly. We need a statewide mask order YESTERDAY. It needs to have teeth and HAS to be enforced. We are headed back to lockdown if people don't change their behaviors.
If it gets bad enough they will. I hope that never happens.I’m fine with a mask requirement but I don’t believe we will shut back down. I don’t think anyone would go along with that.
Don’t they know the alarming case rate increases is a false narrative driven by the liberal media?!?!
I own my own business. If they do shut us down again I may go under. WEAR A MASK.It’s amazing the majority of the shut it down people are all of those on the Government Tit......

But accept obesity as just part of life. One kills more than the other and could be pretty much eliminated, but we worry about the other.I asked him if it was COVID. He said "a little" but mostly non-complaint Mississippians who refuse to follow their doctors medication and lifestyle orders. We are an unhealthy bunch in this state.
Obesity isn't contagious. As you pointed out obesity has a cure and it's cheaper than what you did to get obese. COVID doesn't have a treatment. Let's see which one should we worry about, the one that is very contagious and has no cure, or the one that isn't contagious at all and has a simple, cheap cure? Man that's a tough one. *******But accept obesity as just part of life. One kills more than the other and could be pretty much eliminated, but we worry about the other.
Nothing to see here. It’s just a hoax.
I’ve been posting about the lack of any reversal in the death rate numbers for a couple weeks now. Well, it finally reversed yesterday. Nearly a thousand deaths which is the highest number since early June
Just heard from my son who is an ER nurse in Jackson. Wait times are currently 3.5-4 hours right now. No available beds so if you get admitted, you stay in the ER until a room opens up. I asked him if it was COVID. He said "a little" but mostly non-complaint Mississippians who refuse to follow their doctors medication and lifestyle orders. We are an unhealthy bunch in this state.

You do know what an ICU is and the ways it's different right?Hospitals empty??? I thought they were flooded with Covid patients and would run out of room soon!!!!!!!
Not disputing what you’re saying, but the chart I’ve been following on worldometers.info says 378 for Monday and 993 for yesterday. That nearly 1400 2-day total is quite a bit more than several other 2-day totals from the last few months.
As usual you assume WRONG. I used to be obese several years ago. It's pretty simple to get rid of. You eat less and exercise more, with the eating less being by far the most important thing. I did it and have kept it off. COVID does NOT have a treatment that works. Good grief it it did nobody would be concerned at all. My lord. It’s interesting which posts you reply to and which posts you hide from. I’m assuming you’re obese?
And since when did Covid no longer have a treatment? Worrying about covid does nothing for you. You can’t stop the spread. Remember, the experts have said we’ll all catch it, we’re just trying to slow the spread. You can have an impact on obesity. Worry about that one, lose weight. Get healthy. Then you’ll be better prepared for when you get covid.
