Lol no way.

Bennet would get run out of town faster than **** running that offense. Jay Wright is the most delusional name even over Stevens. Jay wright didnt just retire at Villanova to take the UK job a few years later when hes turned us down thrice.
Bennetts offense is better than Cals.

I know Scott Drew from Baylor won a title and that's significant.

This year, so far he's winless in the Big 12...

Is it that he just got a title? Is that why he's valued?

I like Lloyd, too, but AZ is down 10 at the half at home right now, having scored only 27 points. They are playing Wash State.
So what....
No coach is undefeated
Arizona is in the top 5....where is UK
His teams actually run plays....UK doesn't
He makes in game adjustments.....ccc doesn't know how

Make Jay Wright and Billy Donovan say no before making any other calls.

Wright left the game specifically because like Tubby with AAU he doesn’t want to deal with NIL and transfer portals.

Wright will never coach another game of college ball.
I guarantee at least half the people on here clamoring for Wright don’t know he retired. And they think Stevens is still coaching, too.

Just adding a few Kentucky names to the mix: Mark Pope and Travis Ford. Both have experience and it would be good to see a Wildcat get the job.
Mark pope as pitinos assistant for 3 years then go…

Pitino is the guy. He would take less money bc of the situation and his age. Could buy cal out pitino makes amends by taking a lower salary and asking for forgiveness pleading. You put some guy with him up and comer pitino will get him ready. He will GROOM him. 😂 nIL pitino can do what he wants who cares the man will win. It would be exciting 3-5 year run. It’s the biggest no brainer in the history of no brainer. How many different schools with final fours? The guys dream would be to restore and retire at UK. Now the Bowen stuff blew over there’s no issue with this man. He can coach and there isn’t better than him who would jump on it like a rat on cheese.

Wright is also a Nova guy through and through. Was an assistant there before he was head coach. No way he's ever taking job at another school.

Dewayne Casey might be a good coach here.
The real UK BIG BUCK people that truly care about our program need to get Dwane Casey even if it is only an interim to get things back on track. We have to have someone who is one of us that can bring everybody back together with NBA connections (secondarily). Yes Dwayne is in his 60s but he is a fit young 60s. He is respected in the family, he took the fall and was later cleared like we knew he’d be…today’s kids respect him…He is the facilitator of us getting back to where we want to be

If you want a winner who will change the style of play, energize the fanbase, and definitely say yes to the offer then you call the guy that whipped our *** today.

tommy lloyd is a billy clyde hire. he is 2 seasons deep in head coach.
brad stevens?
not sure why your list starts there....
jay wright has been the best name mentioned here.
billy donovan would be a close 2nd.

But both of those are both a distant 2nd and 3rd to
Coach Cal.
When did u have your stroke? Sorry to hear about it and hope you recover nicely.

I’d be good with most anyone on the list except Scott Drew. Outside of the last 2 seasons, he hasn’t done anything in 20 years to warrant being here. He’s had what, 3 or 4 seasons where Baylor didn’t have double digit losses. I’m sure he’s lost some funky games similar to Loyd last night. I mean, Cal lost in the first round of the NIT and we still supported him profoundly through roughly 2017.

Who cares if Steven’s or Donovan says no, no one getting call #3 is going to have their ego hurt they were the next choice behind those two.

We need to get back to our roots. Someone who bleeds blue through and through. Someone who knows what it truly means to play for the name on the front of the jersey.

Brad Calipari.

No doubt about the fact that Pitino is a legendary coach and proven winner. I just think he has burned too many bridges in Kentucky to ever come back.

I find it hilarious that people can't understand this
Stevens said himself he misses the work that used to happen before game days. Just because he's sitting fat and has zero case issues doesn't mean he wouldn't entertain the offer.

The guy who comes in here and turns this back around will be deemed a saint.
