And block for himself!Maybe he’ll find one of the 3 or 4 wide open receivers open on nearly every pass play!
Must have watched the wrong game. He had ALL DAY on many pass plays. Simply not ready for big boy football yet!And block for himself!

Sound like you are with your ignorant, uneducated comments.Must have watched the wrong game. He had ALL DAY on many pass plays. Simply not ready for big boy football yet!
Yes. Nebraska lost. He’s been the best player on our team this year. But I’m sure you just know more than everyone else. Did you not see what happened when he didn’t play vs Troy?

I don’t remember Tom sitting QBs who complete 60% of their passes with a QB rating of 133.1 who have 6 TDs to 5 INTs, with one of those being a desperation heave. Not to mention the 290 yards rushing and 3 TDs.His pass that was picked when he threw into triple coverage was one of many things that cost us today. Noone wants to admit this, but Tom would have sat him

Did all those "QB play isn't the reason we're losing" comments bounce off your skull?I’m not saying AM won’t be good in the future! Right now he’s pressing too much as most true freshmen will. Vedral knows this offense better. Give him a shot to get us a W!
I remember back in 1984 when Osborne benched Craig Sundberg for Travis Turner against OU. Cost them the game as Turner was a momentum killer.

Wanna respond to my post? Stats are pretty good in favor of not benching Martinez...Did that take Tom to 0-6
Eventually you have to look at everything and realize this isn't just on everybody but the coaches and quarterback.

I'm prepared to get bashed but only the coaches really know how much he's leaving out there. Jmo but about half his passes to the flats are innaccurate disrupting the timing of the play. Seems he is hesitant on many of his runs and wants to go side-to-side more often than not. Runs out of bounds and takes losses rather than throwing the ball away. Yeah I know he's a true freshman and missed his senior year of hs. Frost has stated accuracy, efficient running and being a fast blinker are the needed traits in his offense. I think the jury's still out. I have no idea if Vedral could run this offense at a higher level but I'm not taking it for granted that he can't.Wanna respond to my post? And that’s fine. You have presented some things that give you pause. Fair enough.I'm prepared to get bashed but only the coaches really know how much he's leaving out there. Agree Vedral wasn't that impressive in the spring game. My point is that Martinez may be leaving a lot of potential big plays out there (and making costly mistakes ie int in endzone) and in spite of some big games statistically he's been inconsistent which is to be expected I guess for a true freshman. Milton at UCF proves you don't have to physically look the part to run this offense. And that’s fine. You have presented some things that give you pause. Fair enough.
I just don’t think he’s so bad he needs to be benched, even for a series or two. Is Bunch better? Can we afford to throw away series with Bunch at QB? Because that’s essentially what we would be doing, in my opinion.
No clue about Vedral, but in the spring, he wasn’t close to Martinez or Gebbia as I recall...
Right, I agree, but Milton had his struggles his freshman year as well. Is Martinez missing plays? Absolutely. At this point, why pull him for someone else? To win a game or two? I don’t think we have anyone on the bench that will be better than Martinez, but even if we do, at this point, what will it gain us? If Martinez learns from this season and comes out closer to Milton than not, the rest of this season will be worth it.Agree Vedral wasn't that impressive in the spring game. I would think that Vedral should know the offense better than Martinez. No doubt looking at physicality alone Martinez has way more upside. I'll leave that decision up to the coaches.Right, I agree, but Milton had his struggles his freshman year as well. Is Martinez missing plays? Absolutely. At this point, why pull him for someone else? I agree about vedral’s knowledge of the offense. But at this point, we aren’t winning anything this year. 2 games? 3 games? If by continuing to play Martinez this year will vault him into another stratosphere next year, we do it.I would think that Vedral should know the offense better than Martinez. Martinez needs the playing time so that he’s more experienced next season. No need to bench him now.I don't think that would help. Martinez has been good over all. I think his biggest issue this far is he seems to have a hard time connecting consistently with the deep ball. He has missed many wide open WR. I haven't seen Vedral play so I don't know how he compares. I think Martinez is going to be the guy from here on out, might as well stick with him. It isn't like we have anything to lose this year.
You’re a special kind of stupid.Maybe he’ll find one of the 3 or 4 wide open receivers open on nearly every pass play!
