I guess they're running out of potential baristas, bottom line is being affected..
My guess is since it's no longer a osha mandate any liability do to the vax will now fall on the company who mandates it .
I had to turn a job down that I would have made a big ol pile of money because I wont get vaxxed.
Was told yesterday they may be doing away with the mandate next week but will strongly recommend the shot . I'm betting in the next month most if not all companies will drop the mandate

Works for me. Glad I no longer have to deal with OSHA.

I think culturally Starbucks will be a lot like Blockbuster.

People use to go work and meet people at Starbucks and it had a place in American culture. That's pretty rare now. They shuttered most of their indoor cafe's and are mostly a drive-through coffee shop. Pretty unremarkable, comparatively.

They got very political and now those same politics are hurting them (stores unionizing). They peaked and now they are just managing their own decline. In 20 years they will be a pop culture reference on the Simpsons.

Me too!
Truly a crazy bunch of inconsistent, generally incompetent, bureaucratic goofballs..
Retired Dentist, never had to interact with OSHA. But, the paperwork and 6-8 notebooks were ridiculous. Some of the guidelines just made absolutely no sense. You probably feel the same.

Mandating a covid vaccine....soon they all will drop that stupid mandate
There are so many reasons to stop. People should be able to evaluate their risks and decide if it makes sense to vax or not. People with natural immunity should not be forced to vax.

The UK j6st said screw this it ain't working......
Nothing better than being addicted to a useless drug .
A mandate that does nothing.
My biggest fear of this so called vaccine is it limiting my own immune system & making me reliant on a pharmaceutical made in another country. Now they need more boosters that wont do much if anything at all ...

Have had the experience of being told, during an OSHA inspection, that certain items needed changed. Made the changes and called for a repeat inspection. During the second inspection the agent noted certain items that were not acceptable to him and suggested specific changes. His suggested changes were. . YEP, you guessed it, to RETURN to EXACTLY what we had prior to the 1st. Inspection. I have been told by several folks who once worked as OSHA agents that NO-ONE knows or understands the entire OSHA guidebook. So ALL free lance with their own thoughts and beliefs. UGH!
