Undrafted free agents don’t get paid well. His best business decision is to come back and play in a top flight offense.

Would definitely be great to have him back. I think his inconsistent hands will hurt his stock. But I understand these guys absolutely loved Williams and this is a natural response. Let’s give it a bit of time.

LOL at all the Iowa fans replying to the tweet telling him to transfer there. Can they not read? He says he doesn't want a new coach and offense his senior year. That means he's debating whether to go pro. I would hope Coach Williams will tell him not to make any rash decisions.

I hope he does what is best for him and his future. If he can get paid, then go get it young man! He is no different than any HUSKER to ever suit up in that regard, imho.

I'm not sure I'd classify the coaching change as a business decision. Often that is a keyword to deflect responsibility for the situation you are in. This wasn't a salary cap move. Coaches got fired because you all didn't win, period.

Dude is really good, tough, and very important to this team. Sure hope to see him back.

1. What is the NFL draft WR class looking like this year? And this year vs next year?

2. What do we have coming back in 2018? Will this make us even more short-handed at WR? Scholarship Chart

3. Whether he stays or goes, this needs to be a good quality WR class.

He should do what he thinks is best!

I don't know what is so scary for him though. If he ends up in a spread option offense he'll see some space to showcase his talent. They aren't some complex pro style offense, I think he would be the last person on the roster to struggle with doing his job(aside from catching the ball).

When I saw this last night, I thought, no way can Stanley be ready for the NFL. However, the more and more I look into this, I think he probably should.

A lot of so called experts project him to be a 2nd to 5th round pick. And when you actually look at the history of the NFL draft, lately its been the 2 to 5 round WRs picks who have had the success. I'd say the 2 best rookies right now @ WR are probably JuJu and Kupp. and 5 WRs went before them (so Morgan being further down the list isn't a big deal). Last years best were Michael Thomas (2nd round) and T Hill (5th Round) and a lot of guys went before them. The NFL drafts a ton of WRs.

The thing about skill positions players in the NFL is sometimes it is just landing with the right team. Kupp may not have sniffed the field on some teams and is having a very good year. Also, look at Rex. Been in the NFL for 5 years and now he's a household name. A RB's life span in the NFL is 5 years. Most of the guys drafted before him careers are over. His is really just starting.

And I don't think NU would be better off with Morgan coming back IF he doesn't want to be here. Can't have him under minding the new WR coach. IMO That would be more toxic then his play would be helpful.

Of course he should do what's in his best interest. As anyone should. Best of luck!

Always wise to keep your options open. Might want to wait till you see the incoming coach and system, though, before leaving.

He’s young and tweeted something out of frustration he probably should have kept to himself.
Unfortunately in today's social media world. These kids have been putting their emotions online since birth. It is just what they do. My guess is he will cool down and rethink things. 1 more year in a hopefully improved SF offense he will get top dollar in the NFL. As is, he has a lot of drop issues, that will cause is draft stock to fall until proven otherwise.

At this juncture, his issue is less with his hands and more with his head.
