Run their guts out oh from down 8 to up 4. 22 point swing. Then we go to Tubby ball and dribble the air out and get 3 straight shot clock violations. Unbelievable.

I'm not going to slam Cal, but I really don't understand going to the delay game with a two point lead and Wisky looking dead tired.

It is all on Cal. The stupid milking the clock cost us a championship. I have been complaining about playing not to lose all year and it comes back to bite us in the butt.

Cal did this at Memphis and it cost him a title vs. Kansas.
He did it again in 2012 vs. Kansas and we barely survived.
This time it bit us in the ***.

I was ok with it until you saw they were not going to call fouls. Then you have to rethink it and pound it in to KAT. We did not adjust.

Bull **** officiating got them beat. Only takes a couple of "missed" calls to chafe the outcome of a game.

Also Andrew is not a great finisher even though he did in first. Not the player you want taking late shots. See last years game against Wisconsin

This is clearly a strategy Cal uses and it's one that I have never understood. UK wins this game easy if they keep attacking. Wisc needed us to slow the game down for them to win. We did and they won. Nobody to blame but ourselves.

4 point lead with the ball with about 3 minutes left and you choose to play stall ball. It was a bad decision and it cost the team the game. That's it. With Wisconsin's ability to hit the 3, UK needed to run their normal offense at least 2 more times.

Say what you will, but the shot clock violation didn't cost the game, it was a bad set of decisions with 3 minutes left.

I completely agree that taking the air out of the ball at the end was what lost the game for us. We had a 4 point lead, ALL of the momentum, and the ball with a chance to go up by 6+. Instead we hold the ball and are not aggressive and have 3 shot clock violations.

What makes anyone think Cal will learn from this? He did it at memphis , never learned and did it again with the same exact results. Great tecruiter, horrible coach

Exactly.

Wisconsin was gassed. We should have sped the game up even more. Instead we dribble a hole in the floor for 34 seconds then heave up an air ball.

Wrong... Every time inside of 10 seconds we attacked and got fouled on at least two of them with no call. We played it correctly but refs swallowed their whistles for some reason.

I would have bet money that missing one footers would have been our demise.

Alas it was the stall ball.

3 freaking possessions in a row with a 4 point lead and momentum. I truly cannot believe it. Just beside myself.....

This is every bit on Cal. 4 point lead and we basically just throw all our offense out the window and pound the air out of the ball, resulting in about 3 shot clock violations and terrible shots. Proud of the team, thanks for the ride. The AP coach of the year was missing the last 4 minutes of this game. I'll never understand why.

This is the only legitimate thread right now. This is what got the Cats beat more than anything. Damn shot clock violations and bad shots. Ugh.
