What kind of potential do you see from this North Carolina team?

“I mean, for one, they defend, right? They give multiple efforts. They got people that can flat out shoot the basketball. They have people that can penetrate and get to the basket. I mean, they’re not totally healthy either, because they got two players that played a big role for them. So it’s only allowing the young players to get, you know, some great minutes and some experience. So you know they’re going to challenge in the ACC for sure. Everybody needs to stay healthy, so you can actually see what they’re capable of doing.”

I think there is truth to what she says but but I am going to be concerned about interior defense until they show me they can sustain solid defense against big teams. I am encouraged and looking forward to the season although the early schedule scares me.

Definitely. When you look at UCLA and Betts-- you're playing the best big in the country. If you hold her to 15/10- that is a win IMO.

When I look at the ACC, I really do not see it as a problem. Few to any legit, proven bigs. Our bigs should be able to more than hold their own. And we are going to get better as the year progresses.

JMO I think BT will make a positive gain for us anchoring our post defense.
We gave way too many layups to SC.

Henderson may see more time than I thought. She is athletic with a strong frame and could provide some needed physicality.

I tired to tell yall that about Henderson. RK, NH, and CB spoke highly about her. They see her in practice everyday. They should know.
