Is it safe to assume that part of the recruiting problems was on the staff members that are no longer here, the run of success here lately is extremely promising.

I'm hesitant to dump on the departed since I can't know for sure but this is definitely a legitimate question.
This past season was not what we expected, what we wanted , nor the standard of most UK teams.
Did the staff put in the work like what we are witnessing now??
Did the chemistry and egos effect how Hart & Brooks viewed the overall approach in what they thought they could achieve for their positions.?
My cousin was head coach @ VT at one point. Players loved him as an assistant/ recruiter. There were rumors the players wanted him as head coach rather than ....

When he became head coach it was clear he wasn't ready for the dynamic of running a program and taking it to the next level.
