So they have no talent? No resources? Do they recruit ok?
I admire what Raritan83 and you are trying to do in this thread, but human emotion is a powerful thing that the vast majority of people can't overcome with logic and reasoning.
I'm as emotionally distressed as anybody over this game, so I'm not trying to dismiss anybody's anger or outrage. But, as a program, we've been here before and not only did we come back from it, but we managed to rise as high as #7 in the country. It took six years to do it, but it happened. There's actually video evidence of this. I'll go out on a limb and say that, if our schedule then was like it is now, the early results under Schiano would have been much worse than they were.
I don't really have words for what I saw last night, but maybe that's a good thing. Here's to better performances the rest of the way.
