While I'm not saying that O'Koren has done much anything useful as an assistant so far, what in the world does Dalip Bhatia bring to the table? Does he have a lot of good contacts? Does he have an infectious PJ Fleck type of attitude that recruits flock to? Is he an X's and O's guy? Does he have a good scouting sense?

Dalip has contacts and knows his stuff. He's very likable. Players and parents trust him. If he wasn't promoted, I think there was a good possibility he would have been poached by another school (low/mid-major) to be an assistant coach.

O'Koren might have been a poor recruiter , but someone who could tutor RU's big men and ( I heard on this board awhile back)
Dalip is supposed to be a darn good recruiter.
This move looks good to me, but I really don't know if it is.
