What has happened?? Used to be pics of players of the opposite team to make fun of. Used to be cheerleaders to make fun of. So much has changed. No excitement anymore. What happened??

The Select the Slut feature was killed by dubmass ******. And LSU week was always the best for STS.

SPS has aged. The closer you are to college age, the more funny it is; The closer your daughter gets to college age the less funny it is...

Seems a few years ago a poster either had a daughter, or daughter of a friend, that was an opposing team cheerleader. It stopped after that.

Yeah someone had a friend of the family make an appearance, but I thought it was in one of impp’s threads. It could’ve been both.
ETA: pretty sure it was related to a southern miss game.

I can echo a lot of sentiments in this thread. I wanted to share my disappointment in this season and think I will use this thread for my two cents.

This is by far the worst pre-football time I have ever had. I usually have 15+ Fantasy Football Teams for fun and 3-5 for money and have run countless mock drafts getting prepared. I missed one Six Pack group because I didn't follow up and missed the draft and had to have an auto select team for the other. (Luckily, I had set my prefs ahead of time.)

I usually would be reading and watching every college preseason program. I would have a nice boston butt or two or three racks of ribs and friends lined up for Saturday's game.

And it ain't just the Covid changes to things. All the sports being cut off changed my habits. And when they did start back with all the political and social ******** being shoved down my throat made me even was the NFL sparingly. Thank God for Redzone and getting to miss all the pregame ******** and CONSTANT political ads on regular TV. Going to try the College equivalent tomorrow around or game. Now that we have an empty SC seat things are going to be just unbearable between now and election day.

I know waxing political is supposed to end tomorrow and I am glad. I like and enjoy some chatter but the multipage bickering has been exhausting. I don't care what you think or believe and I bet most on here join me in that sentiment. What's more is that you are not going to change anyone's mind with a post on a sports board, so your constant battle for your views with multiple posters and a plethora of posts just clog up your message. I know that has become the way some politicians and supports debate by just trying to bury you with their message and not actually talking but it gets old.

Done. Now to watch Coach Leach's newest diamond in the rough QB the Jags.

****! I passed that myself. I may kill when they ask about my granddaughters in 15 or 20 years after the fun they had with me when the daughter was at MSU.

Don't ask me for pictures of my girl again now either... answer is still no.
