Springers vs. Skyhawks

Well, my Springers lost this one to a really good Skyhawk team. It was a fun game to watch. Very physical and emotional! Kenny Williams IS the real deal! I'm glad he's staying close to home and play with VCU, The Rams will be a force to be reconned with! Nice job Bird! We had a great week! Starting with wins over George Wythe, Benedictine and John Marshall winning the Times Dispatch Invitational Tournament. Then a big win over Potomac before bowing to Bird at Bird! As I said, we took this one on the chin, but I think WE are still a contendah along with Bird and Henrico in 5A.
The Lady Springers continue to roll undefeated with a hard fought victory over The Lady Skyhawks!

Bird 81, Highland Springs 54.

Not that you'd find anything about it in the media. This had to be one of the biggest games of the winter break. Silence.
