Highland Springs might be a Class 5 school but I think any high school football fan can appreciate the recent success of the Springers with 4 out of the last 5 Class 5 championships. Recently I had the privilege to help co-author Springer Spirit 2 which was a continuation of Springer Spirit published in 1979 covering the first 40 years of Springer football. The latest installment picks up with the 1980 season and chronicles the Springers all the way through the 2019 season.
