Right now the forecast is for mostly cloudy skies with breaks of sun and a high temperature of 72.

Ideal tailgating weather. Break out the gear and get yourselves in game shape!

Good weather might be the only thing preventing people from being able to hold archery practice in the lots.

We will be up for admitted students day Saturday. Scheduling snafu resulted in us having tickets for a Broadway show Saturday afternoon. I am not a fan of Broadway shows, but I would rather go to the show than the scrimmage.

good practice this weekend for the in season "silver metal out" games!
I say 2k at best.
Club level seats for OSU Spring game $40.00 on stub hub,.upstairs $6.00
Expecting 70k,which is a low figure due to ongoing construction at Horseshoe.

On Friday, Rabinowitz reported that more than 50,000 tickets have already been purchased for Ohio State’s spring game, scheduled for Saturday, April 13. He received confirmation from OSU spokesman Jerry Emig.

Due to ongoing construction at Ohio Stadium, the capacity for this year’s spring game will be 76,000

Completely disagree. We'll be rocking and rolling in the Yellow Lot by 11, got a big tailgate going, cooking up some food, playing games, listening to music, swilling some good scotch, etc. Sounds like it's gonna be a perfect day.
Agreed. I don't recall the last spring game that was under 10K. Just going to the game, but should be fun, as always. Nice weather for our post-game activity: got an invite to the RWJ-Rahway Hospital Charity Gala at the Wilshire in West Orange. Had to go out and buy a friggin' suit for this, lol - no cargo shorts...

Speaking of weather, am I the only one who wishes he were in South Dakota right now, about to get 1-2 feet of snow in a raging blizzard (areas in orange are under blizzard warnings)?

I was pissed that it was so cold yesterday after Monday. Yeah, it was not cold, but it sure felt like it after Monday's balmy weather.
Yesterday was one of those crazy back door cold fronts. For much of the afternoon, it was roughly about 72F and sunny in Philly, 60F in Trenton and 45F and misty/rainy from about New Brunswick on NE-ward. On Monday, it was near 80F all over our area and in the low 40s in most of Mass.

you are literally the only one.

MrScrew and I are heading to SD/ND/Wyoming and Montana for a 2 week road trip starting Memorial Day weekend. I'm just praying all of the snow is melted and gone by then and the weather warms up!

As Dalton once said to Wade Garrett- Memphis has nothing to do with it.

But it don't mean nothin'
No victim, no crime...

Also, it would appear that ALL of the women down here are named Courtney, Britney or Nicole.

Which is strange.

Hmmm, identical sentiments on Facebook. I am the cheese, I guess. Although if you go on the weather boards you'll find hundreds who would like to be there, lol...

Sounds like a fun trip - never been to either - they're on the list. Snowfall is not uncommon in MT/WY into early May, but is extremely rare by late May - more likely to be too hot...

Is that really true?

BlockR trolled the season ticket thread 16 times but not once did he mention anything about having tickets, at any point in time. I think it's safe to assume he's not a ticket holder. I think it's safe to assume that he's just another one of those nj.com troll refugees.

Okay, getting the thread back on track, we've suddenly had overnight rain pop up in the forecast. @RU848789 - any insight into how much (volume) rain we're going to get? And will this make the fields muddy tomorrow?

Reading Mt. Holly's forecast discussion it would seem that the potential for heavy rain exists, but isn't a certainty. What seems certain is that there will be occasional showers and possibly a thunderstorm through early tomorrow morning with some clearing as we move through the day. The yellow lot could get a little sticky in spots, but there's plenty of high ground out there that should be okay.

I've never been to the spring game, but want to attend this year. The only problem is my kid's baseball game won't end until about 1:30. We will leave by 2:15 and get to Piscataway by 3:00 p.m. What is the parking like at that time?

You should not have a problem. Keep in mind that it is also admitted students day, but that should be winding down by about 3-3:30.

Tony, Rutgers will be giving out Free Rutgers Football posters and after the game everyone can go down on the field for autographs with the players. Usually, there are tables at the entrance to the stadium where staff are giving away Rutgers magnets for your car.

Man, this thread is disappointing. RU4Real and Spanky are the only two people excited about tailgating tomorrow? What are you people...on dope?

Rain should end by 9 AM. I plan on getting to the yellow lot around 11:45.

Sad, isn't it? We'll be setting up around 11AM.
