What a game this was. Back and forth most of the game. J Kier led the Blazers and D George led Lee. These two played lights out. JMU scout was there to look at J. I hope they may also take a look at Darius also. This kids has lots of potential also. Excellent game..Hatcher was honored also.

Darius George

I'm telling you this kid is going to get some serious consideration at the D-I level if he continues on his path.....

Re: Darius George

I would like to see Jarrett give this kid the green light more than he does. He is quick and has decent handle for his size. He can play any position on the floor. Being that he is only in the 10th grade he definitely has time to get stronger and better at everything. Lee is going to knock off someone in the regionals.

I actually think Darius has a shot to go somewhere better than Kier. There's a reason that more D-1 programs haven't been knocking down his door this year with offers. I haven't seen what I hoped to see out of Kier as a D-1 prospect. He gets lazy at times and doesn't always display the assertiveness that he should. Perhaps that changes next year without Khalil Davis around, but I don't know.

Darius, on the other hand, has impressed me every time I've watched him. He's smooth. Good shooter, soft hands, and LONG. I don't know if he's there yet, but he could easily hit 6'6" by the time he graduates.
