He is a troll.

Most of you help him when you blame Dana for everything.
You set up this Neal Brown vs Dana.

If Dana stayed WVU would have had a better season but that doesn't mean that would have been the best thing going forward.

Like I said last November WVU needed a total rebuild. Dana was unfortunate enough to not be able to do this but even if he did what type of team would he have created.

Neal Brown is destroying this season in hope for the future.
He has that leeway to do so because he is a new coach.
You start young and bring your players and give them experience and hope when they are juniors and seniors they can compete for a Big 12 Championship

Don't have to blame Dana for this season because this is what Neal Brown wants to do and in his opinion is the best thing for your program.

Neal Brown is building a foundation from the ground up. Wants the program to succeed at a high level. Losing key players to injury hasn't helped that. Not enough people to plug the holes. I guarantee Neal Brown did not want to lose games on purpose. Things happen and you just deal with them the best you can.

Dana wanted to win games immediately and did so but never could finish. Could he have done better this year? I'm not sure about that. Maybe he gets to .500 maybe not. He loved offense and the rest of it was put aside. But he would have had the same issues with injuries and plugging holes. One thing is for sure the AD and President didn't want him here. That's why no extension was offered. Houston came open so Holgs took the chance to leave. Good luck to him.

Who said Neal Brown wants to lose?

Neal Brown wants to build a program. Better to build a program around people who will play for the next 2-4 years instead of seniors.

Dana is doing the same thing at Cougar High. This is just something that happens at the majority of schools.
There are some exemptions because some fanbases cannot handle losing but 95%+ of FBS schools go through the same thing with new coaches at the current time.

Saying Dana would have won more games this year isn't saying he is a better coach. But Dana would have kept a lot of players around that are no longer at WVU.

What Neal Brown has is what Dana should have had from the beginning in the Big 12.

That Orange Bowl win and expectations in the Big 12 handicapped Dana from the beginning.

Hard to say it was Dana when he is now being accused of sabotaging the season at Houston.

Just what WVU expected as a program. They wanted to win in the Big 12 and still do.

The way they are doing it is probably much better.
Building a complete football team from high school recruiting.
Much better than transfers because if a player couldn't work out at one school who is to say he would at WVU.

When a program wins it isn't just the coach.

It is the administration
Boosters
Assistants
Fans
Media

So when a program doesn't have success it isn't just the head coach.

Dana wasn't the only one who failed at WVU. It was the entire program.
That was why I said it needed to be broken down to the studs because for whatever reason everyone around WVU didn't have the patience to build a correct P5 program and still had a Big East mentality.
