I had to quit following Mike Decoursey a long time ago....he was cancel culture before it became a thing...
That is one miserable human being. His life must suck if all he can do is find
stuff such as mask-wearing to write about. He spent several hours of his life writing a couple-hundred word article about a football coach not wearing his mask 100% of the time while OUTSIDE. He would've been a good Stasi.

I'm a stickler for masks worn inside, especially in smaller spaces where you can't spread out, but bitching about people walking around outside without a mask is just looking to create a controversy. He was 20 yards away from the chaos of football (maskless) which includes breathing and spitting on anyone you contact (which is damn near everybody on every play). If folks are okay with the football, then Leach is absolutely right, the outdoor masking for everyone else is a dog and pony show. As long as non-players aren't hovering over each other for extended periods of time, masks are for appearances only. If folks are worried about virus floating around in viral loads big enough to get people sick, throw some of those big *** fans on. Simple.
Now if the SEC wants to enforce some rule they have, that's a different argument, but this reporter can get 17ed.

Plus all the players and coaches and personnel were all tested multiple times during the week. They would know on Gameday if they were sick or not. It’s stupid to harp on that.
I found where he tweeted the article and is responding to just about everyone. And I don’t use this term much to describe people but he’s being an absolute **** about it.

I guess I needed a reminder as to why I quit reading that piece of Kotex years ago . . . . .
Isn’t our team, including coaches, tested multiple times per week including right before/after a game?
If Leach is negative before the game & negative after, then he would be negative during the game. Which literally means there was zero chance of him infecting any one during the game, mask or not.

Man there’s a lot of people that this virus and using it to shame others is all they have. Once this is all behind us these lowlifes will shrink back into obscurity.
Leach is an enemy to more than just football coaches. He’d better be careful.

I don’t know if they are tested after the game but I know they are less than 24 hours before and at least two other times during the week. They would know on game day.
We also have some true complete idiots in the fanbase. There are not a lot of them, but whenever someone defends their right not to wear a diaper on their face, those idiots come out of the woodwork to criticize.
