Soon, Barnhart will say he's had a heart to heart conversation with Cal, and they've agreed that one won't fire the other, if the other won't get the one fired afterwards.

Cal: "I'm not going to let a whole roster hold my team hostage"
I’ll never be held hostage by a coach who can’t coach again. Oh and I promise I will fix the mistakes that happened this year or something. We will get younger!

Their one player and one coach had more heart and basketball IQ than our entire roster.
It’s not the rosters fault, it’s the coach that had them abandon basic fundamentals of playing defense in basketball. Kentucky hasn’t done anything in the tournament in 5 years and you’re here blaming the roster, the roster is different every year, the only thing staying here and producing the same results year after year is Can’t Coach Calipari.

Cal is the problem not the players. Cal could have had the Denver Nuggets for a roster and lost in the 1st rounds after beating them over the head with bad coaching and denying basketball fundamentals for 9 months.

Guarding 3’s off ball to half court, leaving your man on the wing to cluster up in the paint, standing straight up when off the ball, accepting defeat on picks with no physicality, guarding your man forcing him to the baseline away from your help in the middle.

These are basketball basics that every competent coach in America watches Kentucky do on tape and then laughs to the bank when coming up with a gameplan to easily beat us, knowing the coach who is incapable of having his players do basic fundamentals of the game, will not be able to make in game adjustments to throttle their gameplan.

I consider the coaches part of the bench. The coach sucked. The team sucked. Reeves was the only bright spot for us. Your post presumes they knew the fundamentals to start off. I don’t need a lesson in how we sucked.

Considering some of the fundamentals they failed to uphold, I was taught in kindergarten 30 years ago, I would say the coach has eroded his players basic understanding of the game with his comically bad coaching.

You keep watching this **** product, you keep supporting it, I don’t care, I’m out until Cal is gone. We have an arrogant jackass of a head coach who has to eat crow soup every year, but he keeps coming back for more.

Crow soup, 10 million, and a next years team cracker, that’s Calipari’s diet.

You’re preaching to the choir. And coming across as kind of a jackass. I’m not defending Calipari. I’m saying he doesn’t care. At all.

This is depressingly accurate. Don't forget splitting with UT, and more specifically, beating UT at the end of the season to give us false hope.

And he’s an older guy . Hmmm? Maybe freshman get beat by older guys . Hmmm,?
We had enough older players this year to be a good team with results. I’m tired of being young being the excuse. A real coach would have won with these stacked younger players, especially ones who shoot 41% from 3

If Cal is the coach next year do yourself a favor...... just forget UK's history , expect 10-12 losses, 2-3 home losses, 4-5 bad losses, a 1st round exit from the SEC tournament to a bad team and a first weekend NCAA tourney exit to a mediocre team. With those as your expectations anything better than that you might at least be able to convince yourself it was a successful season.

We do have the worst three-point defense in the country now everybody has their best shooting nights against us and that is a fact

I've seen this movie like 4 times now. I hated it every single time. Think about that, would you watch a movie that you know you hated, that you know the outcome isn't going to change, would you watch that multiple times? Of course you wouldn't. Why am I doing it with UK basketball, I must be mentally irregular or something.

Bump.
dont say I didn't warn you
Been saying this all year. Calipari had to do something with thise team 'cause things are gonna get a LOT tougher next year.
Don't forget that both Oklahoma and Texas will join the SEC schedule starting next year. 2 more potential losses right there.
