I helped moderate a message board back in the day and had to ban several people for posting lewd/obscene Images. Stupid stuff. I was then accused of “overreacting” by several other board members because they were “just being dumb kids”.
They wanted me to stop being a mod saying I was unfair and too uptight. I told them exactly where they could stuff it and left that community completely; weeks later the board got completely shut down as the web owner got tired of dealing with overgrown children.
Long story short, I know it’s not an easy job. Like being a cop without any backing. Or basically a teacher these days. People just don’t like to follow the rules sometime nd cry foul when they are caught.
