Not what I'm been hearing in practice. After I saw the game on tv. Shelby is good but not has good I thought y'all were at first bc we are not that good on offense right now and defense stayed on the field to long.
Lmfao deflect it all you want coonie but we absolutely dominated South Point defensively ! I know it , you know it , Seadog in his maddog infused stupor knows it , and that fullback , QB and half backs all know it and felt it ... If we aren't that good then y'all absolutely suck, and I think you know that but just can't admit it ! It's ok everyone saw it on tv and film don't lie .....

Very interested about the offensive output of this game. Should it be what we are used to, we'll be fine in conference. Should it be shaky, uh oh.
They don't punt. 4th and 3 they will line up and go for it. Great at running the clock. The fact you're going there will also meen home cooking by the officiating crew, cuz we know they will want payback after getting screwed by NC officials in our game. That being said I hope SP beats the bricks off Clover.

Nobody wants to see 40 or 50 points more than I do but No way could someone with a brain expect that. SP will make personnel changes to the offensive side of the ball or they may not see 40 all season. I promise you all if they don't they will not win conference either. As for the Shelby fans the Lions are a great football team that will only get better. They absolutely dominated SP to the point it was hard to watch. With that said it was also a direct result of a lack of skill at a certain position that could be avoided. Everyone is afraid to say it so I will. Any true football fan that understands the triple option doesn't give a crap about the ability to pass if you can't read the defense and run the ball first. That is the system first and foremost and until a runner is put in that touches the ball every play its over as far as offensive production.
Will be interesting to see how SP offense responds after being shutout by a good Shelby team. Clover is a good defensive team.We will see!
SP offense needs some major work after an abysmal showing for the last two weeks. If the O will click at all, then the D will keep them winning games.
LOL...I'm not afraid to say it either. I've been quiet b/c everyone in the stands knows what is going on. Those two important positions on offense are mis-placed. I'm sure Crest, Shelby and Lincolnton people would agree since they've seen this year's version of the offense. Best the OL and DL have been in a long time, and the offense is stuck in neutral with a couple of guys that should be elsewhere currently starting in the backfield. I think one would be a fine guard, and the other a Split End type to run plays in. Coaches are counting down the days til we play the Middle School conference schedule to try to prove their personnel moves were correct.
No hater here and I totally agree. Its very obvious something needs to be solved in the backfield. Defense is amazing considering the offense never moves. Hope ML sorts it out.

Just because some of the idiots aren't posting much, it doesn't mean that everyone else feels your pain. Most people are laughing everytime SP loses. Everyone is happy that you guys are losing. I just wanted to make that clear in case you thought some of the posters were really IN THIS WITH YOU. They're not.

Really tough game. Clover dominated SP until mid 2nd qtr and then things started to turn SP's way. SP did a great job in containing the Clover offense and begin finding some offensive success of their own. Had some tough penalties late in the game that really affected field position. SP threw 2 picks inside the 15 yard line that killed one first half drive and the last taking away what should have been a fairly easy FG to send the game to OT. That makes 7 picks in 4 games. SP has only completed 13 passes to their own players in those 4 games. Overall this is a young and tough SP team. OT loss to Lincolnton and last second loss to a very good Clover team is nothing to be ashamed of. Other than Shelby, they have been very competitive. However, we have an issue that needs addressed but not sure that Mick is willing to pull that trigger.
Just win, baby! Pull whatever trigger it takes! Mick will only spend a certain amount of time hammering a square peg into a round hole. He bleeds red and black.
We don't eat our own. We love all who call themselves Raiders. We as fans have a right to wonder if something could be done to enhance the team's performance. No names called out other than Mick and he knows that we all love him. One way or the other, Raider fans are here win or lose unlike some other fair weather fans.
