We might have a few others one to but most part most were on varsity.

It's OK I believe you coach coondog. I'm just saying you better hope the kids don't sleep on them like you and the rest of sp couch coaches on here. If they do belmont glow purple

All this talk of Stuart Cramer having a shot to beat SP is funny. SP
What's it going to take for them to get some respect? They beat Ashbrook and everyone said "worsted team Ashbrook has ever had". Then yall beat them and it's a "big win". So do they have to beat Huss or will you still say their competition is giving them false confidence?

Well, I for one said that Ashbrook team was terrible. I think another guy did as well....maybe he said worst ever. So, I didn't say it was a great win. I said it was an expected win. A guaranteed win...and did so before the game was played.

I agree with the other couple of fellows who think the SP-SC game will be a blowout. I've seen SC twice this year. #1 - that ain't a good defense. #2 - I'm offended at your spellings of "offense"

Why do you assume because I'm asking about a certain team that I'm a in that fan base. I'm a fan of good football so I have gone to see them a few times

Nobody is assuming. I'm sure most SP fans have seen SC play at least once this year. We know who they have, and better yet who they don't have.
Also- you are obviously a dad/parent/fan/booster of SC.

babyhewey/SC fan: If you are hanging your hat on what is done on the JV level....you are in for a terrible realization at the varsity level. If they could play as 9-10th graders, they are already gone from SP JV and up on Varsity to do the normal run into the playoffs.

Oh yeah- you are a dad/booster of ST. Cramer for sure. Nobody else on earth would dare take up for this program. Did you say s. cramer has a good defense? What do you base this on? Did you say you don't pick your non conference schedule like colleges do? I'm confused here. So much bad, wrong info.

Your program-coach-AD 100% picked the worst historic football programs in the greater charlotte area to play in non conference the last couple of years....but say that some wizard behind a curtain picked your schedule without any knowledge or input from the school? I'm not even saying that was a bad idea. It's just sad you don't know this.

First I never said you said anything. I said your leader of the black and read circus did. And I never claimed to be a spelling bee champion either didn't know we were in class here. And nope none of those like I said I'm a fan of good football. Yall play good football from time to time but I hate the mentality of most of the people on that side of belmont so I just don't go over there that often. But honestly yes your competition in non conference was better no doubt. But other then Crest who have yall beat? East gaston and Ashbrook. Probably need to keep your mouths shut until you are on the better end of .500

Look dude if you are going to quote me atleast quote me right. I said you don't choose you non conference every year those schools were obviously put on the schedule in its first season. But I do know when I program starts they have to get who they can get on the schedule. I don't have kids nor do I have the time to be a booster. Just sticking up for the underdog in the league.

In all honesty I am a Forestview fan I like the punch you in the mouth run game and spread it out if you need to. And to think yall will put 35 on them like someone said earlier is just idiotic, that's a stiff defense and they are fast.

I agree with Babyhewey. I know speed and that SC defense has it on the defensive line and at linebacker for sure. FV has an excellent power running game and SC held them to 13 points. Ashbrook and their team speed only generated 14 points. One thing I know from watching all teams involved and reading messages posted here, SP fans at least (and probably the team) are way overlooking SC. Who knows who will win when they play, but I know you may be surprised by the coming STORM if you and the team sleep on them. I know the Huskies are definitely not going to sleep on them! What if SP finishes 3rd or 4th in the conference?

Hell would freeze over and SP would fold the program...maybe a public hanging downtown by the War Memorial as well...that's what I imagine.

Bingo! How many times does someone show up on the site suggesting this is the year they finally beat SP. Well, BH I hate to be the bearer of bad news but SC will not beat SP even though we all know SP's offense isn't as strong as years past. SP's defense is outstanding and their offense is good enough to score enough points take good care of this game. The influx of last years JV team will in no way influence the outcome. SP by plenty in this game.

Yep the defense is outstanding enough to hold Ashbrook to 2 less points then Cramer and allowed Brooks 12 less yards but let him get in the end zone 2 more times then Cramer sounds like both of those defenses are just about equal to me and FHS defense is just as good. So crack the door open to that little close mind of yours (and that's to all sp fans) if and I know to yall its a big if but if SC beats SP will the new kids on the block finally get some respect or will you just say we had a bad team this year?

Stuart Cramer played the game of their school history to barely outlast Ashbrook two weeks ago. SP beat Ashbrook (again), this time 45-12 with an offense so slow it couldn't beat it's way out of a wet paper bag. I really don't think the Storm is much more of a threat to SP than a rain shower.

Agree with 73. Apparently it's insulting to the SC fans that we know SP will beat them, because like it or not we do have a very informed fanbase. We hear the optimism and hope in the SC fans cries in person and on here.....but we've seen real good football for 40+ years....and yall ain't even close yet. So, to give you actual bulletin board material: You Don't have the talent, don't have the coaching and don't have the toughness.

Wow....have a lot of new trolls on here. Brand new with all of 10 or 11 posts. I'm fine with that. Stirring it up is fun. We need more of it on here. God knows how bad Gaston County football is right now- anything to help people watch it is a good thing.

You are very correct about bad football in Gaston Co. this year. The best of the best are really just average at best. HH and SP are probably the best but that is not saying anything. HH has talent but not enough coaching or discipline. SP has one of the weakest offenses in school history but is still good enough to be at or near the top of this sorry Big South conference. We go to the games every week just hoping that the offense will gel in time for the playoffs. Getting to the playoffs is not an issue considering the level of non-talent we will play the rest of the way. The playoffs will be a different story however.

The one change they made last night on offense seems to already be paying off. The second half showed a little more speed and spark than has been shown since the Crest game. One more weapon in the arsenal allows flexibility to mix it up more. We will see.

Why would I want to coach at **** Cramer? I hope they keep up what they're doing.
SP will beat Forestview this year...like about every year in the entire series history. A couple of you guys take that as bravado or arrogance. No sir. Look at the record. You all should take that as history and facts. Expecting to win when one program holds a 17-2 record over another isn't being arrogant, just expecting a normal outcome from two teams that meet every year.

Just curious, if somehow by the grace of God Cramer beats the almighty Red Raiders how many of you are going to think about ending it all? Bc I have been around along time and while I just rejoined this sight after being off of it for years, I have seen good defences. Say what you want about the talent of their competition but they have as good of defence as I have seen in years. This isn't college you can't pick your non conference schedule from year to year. If they can find momentum on offence they could get dangerous.

The word "retard" is inadequate to describe many of the protoplasmic spacewasters that drift in and out of this place. You sir, are the very bottom rung of a very tall and retarded ladder. Cramer has about as much chance of winning against South Point as you have of writing a grammatically correct sentence and your mother has of finding a cure for her venereal disease. Don't come back at us with this type of verbal vomit. You are providing urinating levels of laughter for us all, clown.

Now see this is why we can't do anything without some inadequate turd bucket chiming in with crap like that it was all fun and games until your mom laid on her back on drug filled night and conceived your worthless trailer trash tail. Now you want to start taking personal jabs I'll be glad to tell where you can find me and see if you want to keep talking out of that hole you call a mouth. Can we continue with football talk or do you want to continue with this nonsense?

I saw Hunter Huss playing Porter Ridge earlier this year and I said once that QB gets his feet under him, the Huskies will be one dangerous team and they have so far lived up to that expectation.

Couple of things. No- we shouldn't be 6-1. We aren't a good enough team to be 6-1. We had plenty of help to even be in two of those losses. That said....Obviously HH-SP was the game of the conference. I said as much about a week ago. HH is in the drivers seat. People, please start taking notes.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY in Belmont is worried about Forestview or SC. FV will be a closer game..maybe 31-17 win for SP. The SP - Stuart Cramer will go a little something like this:
SC will continue to carry the false confidence, the misplaced optimism and the way too high expectations into the SP game due to beating stalwart programs like Cherryville, Bessemer ******, West Iredell and Lake Norman Community Technical Hospital.
West Iredell is a solid 2-5 this year, a much improved season over last year's 0-11. I see why there is teeming confidence abound in Mount Holly. Cherryville hasn't had a winning football season in Pop Warner, Middle School or High School since Ike was in office and LNCTH is still a Middle School team by all accounts. Nobody has fixed the glitch yet, and they're still on the schedule.
So, when SP-SC meets, SP will deal with the personal fouls and dirty play SC has become known for, and still physically beat them up in a contest that resembles early Tyson vs. Glass Joe fights. Final score SP 66, SC 13

And this is how the Hunter Huss Game will go...oh wait you guys got beat lol

Thanks for the reminder fruit boots. Yes, HH did beat SP this year. Big congrats. 20-5-1 now all time vs. little old SP and their terrible athletes.
Just go sit in a corner of the quarter kitchen efficiency you are paying for daily and think about this: Maybe those beatings you see on the field annually don't make sense to you with all those "great" HH athletes? SP has the same coaching now as the last 40 years. That hasn't changed. Wonder what the difference is this year? Bill Belicheck couldn't coach the supposed bad athletes SP has every year to that record. Maybe HH and Ashbrook doesn't have as many good athletes as you think? 3-4 per year - sure. But the rest of those 30-40 on the sidelines are just guys who on the outside appearance look just like the 3-4 actual athletes they have on the field. What you and the rest of the uninformed see is inaccurate. SP doesn't have athletes this year, but in the last 30-40 years, they've had loads of them....even if they don't look like what you consider to be a great athlete.

O.K. Ralphie nothing in that incoherent rant made any sense at all. I would suggest using commas and other punctuation. I think you said something about bad coaching at Hunter Huss. SP is obviously superior to Huss because of the 1952 Cigar Bowl Double Wing offense that they run. I think George Bush played in that offense when he was a wing back at Yale. Apparently the "hide boot pass" and the "influence buck wing fling" didn't work against the huskies. You and coondog should start a club (I know you guys were probably pulling guards in Limburgers offense) .

You missed it entirely.
I said, in so many words: Those 'great' athletes at HH aren't great the last 20 years. Those 'bad' athletes at SP were really good the last 40 years. Since FV opened and HH doesn't have 2,000 students, they haven't had more than 3-4 really good athletes on their football teams since. Oh yeah, and HHs coaching stunk too.
