We may lose this game. They beat Louisiana Tech who is much better than us.
I agree. They did that and played Memphis close at Memphis. They play all their non-conference games on the road, except for 3 NAIA-type schools. I imagine for the money.

We’re not playing well and may not the rest of the year, unless some changes are made by the coaching staff. If they continue the same offense/defense no matter our opponents, it doesn’t look good.

Konkol and staff have to make adjustments.

Agree. I feel like the roster is much better than two years ago player by player. But they seem lost.

Some coaches devise their offense and defense based on what their players do the best and from what positions. Other coaches try to force all of their teams to run the same offense regardless of what their players do best. Our offensive failures are a combination of not having great inside players who can score 10-15 a game and pass inside out , not reversing the ball, non dribblers (you know which ones) trying to attack the rim, dribbling much more than passing, and not recruiting pure shooters/scorers or rebounders who can get you 9 rebounds a game. The two players who could do these things, Selebangue and Haggerty have now opened accounts at J.P. Morgan.

I recently rewatched the ESPN 30 for 30 on the 1983 NC State Wolfpack team called “Survive and Advance”. If you haven’t seen it you need to. Jim Valvano made some, at the time, daring choices while leading his team from a bottom seed in the ACC to a national championship beating the Houston team that took TU out of the tournament the previous year. Konkol isn’t Valvano but it’s time for him to make bold choices with this team.

Well, we can always hope they did, instead of being taken advantage of by friends and family and squandering the rest. My bet is that these NIL deals don't come with fiscal responsibility coaching.

Barnes has super effort but we can’t make this offense get easy shots against anyone.

Southern U look so much better than us early on. They’re on a 8-0 run at the moment.

Let me say something positive. Our rebounding is better the last couple games.

15 3s vs 11 2s. Absurd when you don’t have good 3 pt shooters.

Really disappointing that we look even or slightly worse than Southern.

Didn’t see Nash on the bench. I did see Garcia in street clothes on the bench. Looks like Barnes is out with wrist or hand injury.

We really are trying to force the ball inside, & play an inside out game. But, we just lack the inside players to make it work.

Garcia on the bench first half. Not seen him since. Barnes indeed with long arm splint.
Garcia a mystery

These are the teams we schedule to pad our W/L record. The fact that we're looking this garbage against these teams in Year 3 of this regime is awful to say the least

For you BB guys why don’t we attack the basket when we break the press?

Worst team in many years. Zero inside and not very good shooters. If we are going to play street ball recruit street ball players. This is not about NIL.
