You’d figure they’d have alumni in Vegas. I think it was a pretty weak showing. Our board would be in meltdown mode if we were ranked number 6 and had a turnout like that.

UNR is located in Reno and even though the game is in the same state it’s not like driving to OKC from Tulsa and then having a late Thanksgiving dinner. It’s almost 500 miles away which is like driving from Tulsa to Houston but on mostly 2 lane road. I never expected a big turnout even though they draw 10000+ at home.

Which is why I thought it would be a solid neutral court opportunity. Even if UNR had a big alumni base in Vegas it was on Thanksgiving. Tulsa just wasn't quite ready yet.

Exactly. Sometimes I wonder if Jeffries has a good BB IQ. He just makes bad fouls that put him on the bench. Now, he’ll most likely sit for the last 16:25 of the first half. That could be really bad news for TU. Falokun or Horne will have to step up.

The 5 on the floor is pretty effective right now on both ends. Horne looks pretty aggressive going up for defensive boards as does Igbanu. We are really clogging the lane which is worrisome b/c it seems like everyone shoots 45% from 3 against us.
